That is so sweet of himmmm! I cannot wait until mine is tall enough to make coffee. He has wanted to get it for me so many times, but he is chin level with things on the stove and we use a kettle and French press so I'd rather not risk him pouring scalding hot water all over himself... Soon 🤞

Watching my ~100lb puppy obey my 5 year old... It always amazes me when he could easily push my son around and do whatever the heck he wants. The most patient and gentle puppy I've ever raised. I don't know that I'll ever be convinced to bring home any other breed... I guess I should probably get through puppyhood before I can really make that decision though 😅

We're in the same boat except we are in a camper. I'm happy to have it at a nice and cool 86° right now. I have to remind myself that more than likely, it won't be like this forever and I can handle it for a few seasons. Even if it is forever, it's worth it to not have to pay somebody else to provide power to my home.

Heard the chickens freaking out yesterday afternoon and ran over to see what was going on. Momma was losing her mind and I didn't see anything around her. I was about to pull her away from the babies before she hurt them and then I saw it. Big snake decided to #FAFO
Thankfully, he wasn't able to get into the coop before I caught him and all the babies are accounted for 🙌
I apologize to my little dog that I've been accusing for sneaking into the other coop and stealing my eggs. It was probably the snake.

I was happy to see the babies come out to eat! We've got six happy chicks, had two losses, and still have nine waiting to hatch. I put fourteen eggs under her so I guess she continued laying after she started sitting.
