Landfill is so fucking stupid.
Like just dig a single big hole and get rid of all the other landfills.... Ya'll just literally dumping shit anyways. Dig a 5 mile deep and just stuff it with trash.
Old mineshafts. Stuff em and seal them off. Probably would reduce the effects when they eventually collapse.

I've almost made another fabric patch #upcycled from jeans!
The lighter scrap jean material were from a pair donated to the thrift shop I work at: and were unsellable. The other was a pair of mine that had a pen leak. The white fabric is a from a jean pocket.
Made a bunch I plan to sew them on thrifted jeans and sell them... similar to my over-shirt like.

I brought some handmade buttons!!
They are made of porcelain and have lil' birbs on. They only costed my £1 each and are all made by an 88yo woman.
There was also a bunch of coasters with different animal and sea-side designs and plates with bees on which were all so cute.
Idk what to do with the buttons yet tho. Maybe I'll replace a coats buttons with them...
I brought them in the Cornish town of Padstow if anyone is interested.

Two fabric patches that I am going to sew onto something denim. Jacket, jeans or shirt idk.
Anyways when I do I'll put them on my Depop cus it's much easier to do it that way than ebay now.
I'm tryna keep to basic shapes that I can cut out from all the ruined scraps of denim trousers I get given.

I work in a local charity shop with my mum and hav begun collecting jeans. I went in one day last week and someone saved me a bunch of donated jeans that were mostly torn that were headed to the skip.
I am making them into scrappy emblems to sew on to jeans and jackets to resell as funky upcycled clothing.
I've been mostly doing stars and peace symbols. Like raggedy hippie vibes.
Idk if they look good but everyone I do is unique and they seem fun and quirky I guess.

I use Ebay to sell stuff however they are changing the delivery options and it's annoying. I used to buy a postage at the post office so I knew it was actually correct for it's size and weight etc. But now it's like prepaid crap.

Added cool stars to the back of this pair of thrifted. I thought the black would contrast pretty bad but it looks pretty fine ig.
Going to do blue stars on the front legs in the same sorta position but maybe in a different thread.
Also these gem things left glue behind I couldn't get off so I covered it up with buttons I found off something earlier this week. Hopefully they stay on and look cool.

Made celery and lentil soup which turned out actually okay.
My sister said it tastes like chicken soup :P
Was gonna make just celery and onion soup but I now like lentils fsr.

I need very specific #computer #help rn.
Background: my laptop is old. Recently it has been saying I need to replace the battery.
Booted the laptop up and it didn't say the message and instead told me my hard drive cannot be booted into. The computer was bleeping.
I found out from removing the drive and using a SATA to USB the sound was coming from the drive. NOT a mechanic noise... a "unable to read".
I'm hoping to gosh that the drive can't get enough power. And the data is okay.

I'm not on tic-tok but I'm getting the impression that the two sites attract very different audiences. What teenager goes to Facebook, which is becoming (/ has become) the land of boomers?
I mean I use Facebook but like mostly for niche groups and stuff, no one goes to Facebook to follow influencers or watch short form content.
