banger videogame idea:
yugioh forbidden memories clone with generative AI. instead of memorizing a single set of rules (mostly which elements plus a dragon plus a thunder are needed to make twin headed thunder dragon) you give the LLM a prompt and it generates an entire cardgame art and all.
every card combines with any other card to make whatever the AI thinks is appropriate, generate its stats and image on the fly during the fusion animation, cache the result for the future
with a lightning lora and lowres image generation on card art (512x512) you could probably get the GPU requirements low enough to be anything that can run dark souls
all i'd be using the LLM for would be picking a name and stats, so it could totally be generated at runtime

fundamentally, this is absolutely not an adaptation of the source material in any way shape or form. the source material was all about creating a sense of uncomfortable closeness to the ugly parts streamers keep hidden, while watching how those ugly parts can be channeled to create a self-destructive but meteoric rise to fame
this opened up with her already famous, which isn't even the most common ending to get, the usual arc people follow is her descent into drug addiction and self-harm as she fails to live up to her unhealthy unrealistic goals, followed typically by suicide.
so, already, i'm frowning at it. it's missing the point. the original material came from the author's deeply held misogyny from getting TOO intimate with how women work, and this seems to be entirely shying away from that.
it feels like getting something called "the super mario bros movie" that's entirely about mario and luigi being plumbers and living normal lives because it takes place AFTER they accomplished their goal (beat bowser) instead of during the action. a movie like that COULD be good, but it sure as hell ain't in-line with the games
