Good evening friends 🌛
It is time for some update (finally I have energy and time to do it) = long post:
🦠 my husband was ill for week and took antibiotics (it was hard to take care of all family members alone)
🏊 we had lot of visitors during first July week - my mum stayed here for 4 days and tried to help with little one (but he was grumpy because of teething). Best visit was from my friend - I feel alive with her and she also get along with my husband (so me and her swim in swimming pool naked while my husband was working at the garden 😁). One weekend was for my husband and his weed gang. And also my little sister and her boyfriend visited us and we played some board games.
🙀 stray cat got birth to three kitties at our roof - now we are trying to catch them all (to give kittens a new loving home and first of all, neuter that cat). One of the kitten went to our home so now he is living here and waiting for vet treatment.
🥣 I tried few new recipe - not all of them were successful. Now I don't have much time for cooking and I miss it.
👶 Life with little one is really intense. It is only month since he started to crawl on all fours and now he is standing by himself next to the furniture. He is also eating nicely and has 6 teeth.
🌻 I didn't have time (and priority) for garden. So most of my plants probably died.
🥰 It is month from yoga family retreat and I still feel it's impact. I try to exercise daily - even for 5 minutes at evening. And feel like my connection with my husband is finally back as well.
🙏 I cut most of paper work from NGO I worked for and I am happy about it. I still have some rests but not that many.
I am happy to be back here as well. Have a good night 🌃

Hello #Nostr friends 🌞
After longer time I want to say hi to all of you. I am alone at home (means without husband, but with 🐱🐶👶) for 27 hours for the first time after childbirth.
And it is kinda relaxing 😁 I spend more time in bed with little one than usually, had cleaning ladies do housework and drink two coffees. And yesterday at evening I also read one chapter of my favorite book and went to the bed before 22.
We have some new things here and I would love to share it again with you but I do not have so much free time anymore - little one decided that he wants to learn how to walk before 9 months 🥹 so now we are walking from room to room (and my hands are hurting).
So hopefully more posts from me will appear soon 💪

Our 👶 already had his first sleep of the day and it was nice that my husband and I had slow breakfast together (and coffee of course).
Now my husband take 🐶 and 👶 for walk and I have finally some time alone. I will go to pool (best thing in this house for summer) and read book.

Good morning #Nostr friends 🌞
And welcome new week. After long time. I am full of energy.
We were on yoga family retreat during weekend and it was much needed break (from housework and dog). Before we also went to our favorite restaurant - it was for first time after childbirth and our little one was amazing. We had our favorite burger and then went to retreat.
At the start I was bit sad that we didn't manage to attend all program because 👶 was sleeping during that time. But then I let go of this feeling and enjoyed the weekend. We climbed the lookout tower even though I'm afraid of heights and it was a big step out of my comfort zone. Little one was at baby yoga for 10 minutes, so it is success for me as well.
Even though it was first time sleeping somewhere else than at home with 👶 we managed it pretty well and got some quality family time (and sleep and good food).
I hope this feeling will last a bit.

Someone is snacking chips with coca-cola and me and my husband are having fresh cheese, bread and milk. Feel like little treat 🤤
Month ago I started order some stuff from farmers market and I am really satisfied with quality. I also made ice cream today.
The best thing is that I am able to serve these meals to little one as well without any regrets.

Life is running really fast with little one. My days now usually looks like this:
- waking up around 5.30, cuddling in bed
- first sleep (so I making breakfast)
- breakfasts, cleaning mess after breakfast, playing, walking the dog
- second sleep
- lunch, cleaning mess after lunch
- longer sleep (so I do the dishes, cooking for dinner or next days)
- playing, snacking, diner, walk or playing outside at the garden
- night sleep (so I catch housework I didn't manage during day and we watch one or two episodes with my husband).
Recently I realized that so thing ended without me even realizing that it is last time (for example our little one asleep on nursing pillow during breastfeeding often, and now it is already three weeks without it). 🥹 And also he has already two teeth and eating a lot of food during the day.
Therefore I try to focus more on things that matters for my - cooking healthy food, conversation with my husband, being outside and educate myself about non-toxic life. But it also means to cut things which are not that relevant - paper work, scrolling social media, talking with "friends" who are not longer in our life..
Today my parents are visiting us and they wanted to come over for lunch - so I told them that it is not option for us (because I need to cook for them and they want to eat at 12 exactly). It seems like little thing but for me personally it was one step closer to set boundaries with them. ⚡

Little one waked at 3.55 and fall asleep again at 5 at morning. But I wasn't able to sleep. Which means that laundry is done, bone broth is boiling and I also had morning coffee 💪 I guess afternoon will be designed for power nap with baby.
Yesterday I prepared meals for following days and my husband mowed the lawn. Today we need to prepare barf packages for animals - 12kg of raw meat and offal. I am also waiting for package from nontoxic store (a new filter jug and dishwasher rinse aid). And we will definitely go for walk as well - it is our family time every day and I love it.

I did some research before introducing solid to our baby boy. In most of the cases raw apple was reason for choking (together with nuts, sausage). We will try to avoid choking risk by offering food in suitable shape for baby, but I am also aware about this risk - still believe that it is worth it. 🙏

Our 👶 is reaching for our food at every meal. He even starts to cry when he cannot touch it.
So I start to prepare meals which he can also try. We want to go BLW with him but I wanted to wait till he is 6 months old. But never mind, yesterday he tried homemade chicken ham and today it was banana. I guess only like 1 gram of food ends in his mouth 😅 But it is so nice to see his enthusiasm and amazement when he taste it.
Do you have any recommendations for child friendly meals?
So far he tried (more likely put his hands in it) pork rib (only bone 😅), ham, scrambled eggs, baked salmon and banana, banana cookies. I also like to try new recipe and it beginning to be much more fun for me than before.
For couple next days I would like to make puding, liver pate, whipped marrow, steak and maybe some veggie pancakes 🤔

Life has been busy lately. With our baby and puppy we need to schedule our time more precisely than before.
Now, I can't believe that I was tired before in my life 😅 after getting baby I feel like I know what is like to be exhausted. But getting puppy showed me next level of exhaustion.
How our days look like now:
My husband is sleeping at couch during night in living room with puppy.
⏰ Getting up around 6
- my husband is going for walk with Black
- playing with baby boy in bed
- breakfast
🗾 7.45 - 8.30 playing CIV 6 with my husband (baby boy and puppy are sleeping)
- trying to clean a little
- coffee
☀️ 9.15 - 10.45 it is my time to take care about baby boy and puppy. So I usually go to the garden (baby boy in carrier) and run with puppy around.
During this time my husband can finally fully focus on work.
- lunch
😴 13.00 - 14.30 sleeping with baby boy (sometimes I sleep as well or reading book - I love this time during day). Cuddling with cat Winky, because she misses us a lot - but she is afraid of dog so she usually stay in bedroom during day.
My husband is working and puppy is next to him (if we are lucky, Black is sleeping - otherwise my husband need to be careful about what Black is chewing).
At afternoon I start to be bit easier because my youngest sister is coming home from school. So someone is playing with puppy, someone is cooking dinner and someone is taking care of our baby. 💪
Then it is time for diner and shower.
💤 Around 19.15 our baby boy is going to sleep and it is time for me to do some dishes or focus on work. My husband is already exhausted and asleep on couch at that time 🫣 If we are both awake we watch one episode together.
🌒 I usually go to bed around 21.30
So that's basically it. I hope it will be less exhausting in a few weeks (months). But I am happy that we made this decision 🖤

😷 This shit is stronger than I thought. I believed that my immune system is strong but this illness take me down for longer than I expected.
My husband also get this crap from Saturday and out baby boy has high fever from this night.
I know that he is strong baby and it will probably pass soon but I feel so sorry for him (I also cried because of it - I hate when I feel powerless..). So now he sleeping on me and I tried to breastfeed as much as possible meanwhile coughing my lungs out..
How did you feel when you experience your child first illness?
Hopefully we will be better soon 💪🌱

Update on 8th week of this year:
🧑‍⚕️ We were on two mandatory appointments at doctors with our baby boy. It wasn't that bad as I was afraid of (but I am glad that the next one is in 5 weeks - still to early for me..). Our 👶is gaining weight really fast. He had 2,7 kg at birth and now he has 6,7 kg (nearly 4 months). There starting to be conspiracy theories - one is that I am producing cream instead of milk 🐮 second one is that my husband is secreatly giving him protein.
📚 I got part-time job at local library. It has 6 (SIX) readers. So my goal is to have at least 10 by the end of this year. On Thursday I will he the key and will see how the place looks like. Hopefully it will not be full of garbage.

We just returned from doctor appointment with our baby boy. And I have to say we have great doctor. I was totally freaking out about having this conversation about vaccines. But it went really smoothly and I am relieved. Now I can sleep calmly 💪

Update on the 7th week of this year:
🍝 On Monday we were on quick date (alone). We didn't check opening hours of restaurant and we arrived 5 minutes before closing. But owners were really nice and allowed us to stay there and eat.
⛳ on Tuesday we got new carpet in living room - Clever city. Everyone wants this carpet at home but usually parents don't approve it (so we did).

👶 On Wednesday we went to city to buy baby carrier (and I already tried it also outside). I love it.

🌞 Friday was sunny so I was sitting and reading at garden (our little boy was on walk with my husband). On Saturday I finished the book - will be one of my favorites.

Update on 6th week of this year:
🧹 On Monday we had cleaning ladies come over to our house - it was best decision we could make. They were here for 2 hours and cleaned much more than we wished for. Now they will be coming over twice per month. (Thank to them we are having more time for our baby boy and I am stressing less than before).
🌐 We got stronger Wifi connection (now we have Wifi in bathroom as well - not sure if this was right call).

Update on 5th week of this year:
😴 Our little boy finally recognize night sleep (meaning he sleep already from 20.30 to 7.30 - with 4 or 5 wakes up 😅).
❄️ There is still snow and we are going outside everyday. We also visited my husband's coworker who has three dogs.

✍️ On 27th January I visited my coworkers and also manage to visit one bday pancakes party.
💪We took the tram with a stroller for the first time. Our little boy turn himself from back to belly (intensionally, not by accident).
I am really grateful for all these things ☀️

How are you doing?
I went to physiotherapy today and it feels good again. I try to go there once a month - I don't struggle with anything right now but I want to feel better and healthy in my body. 💪 And it is also my alone time without baby boy.
After that we had coffee in our new favorite coffee place.

How was your weekend?
We mostly spent it outside and enjoyed sunny winter. Yesterday we went for spontaneous trip and today for long walk. Physically I am tired but it definitely boost my mood ❄️ And we agreed to go for longer trip next month also with sleep over and I am excited about it.

Naštěstí manžel každý den kočárkuje, tak se dospím nebo si dám vanu sama pro sebe 🙏 Nošení i společné spaní praktikujeme.
Už jsem si tak nějak přiznala, že teď jsem v jeho rukách a nějak se s tím smiřuju. Snažím se moc neplanovat, ale i tak si tajně myslím na koncert v dubnu (to už třeba vydrží i 3h s manželem).

Možná kdybych to neřešila, tak jsem nakonec klidnější 🥹
Já se snažím si najít čas a téma mimo mateřství (teď zrovna ty daně) - jinak by mi asi hráblo už teď. V pátek jsem byla na 2h pryč (v bance a u doktora) a pak se malý ode mě nehl dalších 3 dny v kuse a byl pořád na prsu.
Někde jsem četla, že malý kluci jsou víc kontaktní na potřebují víc pozornosti než holky.

Good morning #Nostr friends 🌞
Life is being crazy with the little one. Most of my time during day I am bed or milk machine for him 🫣
For couple weeks I had bad sleeping - baby boy wanted to nurse a lot or I was having dreams about vaccines (nightmares that doctor steals our baby to vaccine him against our will 😵). Yesterday we went for check up to doctor and I was scare about it - because it was time to start vaccinating. But it went smoothly - I told our doctor to postpone it for 6 month at least and he was totally ok with it 💪 He just tell me to remind him everytime we visit him - but he didn't force us to do it now or convince us to change our mind.
And today I finally slept really well without these nightmares. 🙏
Now is time for coffee (we switched for black one for now) and education. I started to listen podcast about taxes because that way I feel bit productive.

We wish you calm, healthy and happy Christmas 🎄🎁
Our first Christmas as family of three (or four 😸) wasn't as we expected.
On 23rd our baby boy was struggling with belly and refused to breastfeed - so he was crying a lot.
Yesterday there were black out of electricity - and for unknown reason third of it didn't turn back to normal. So now we don't have electricity in our bedroom, some sockets in kitchen don't work as well and washing machine is also out.. 😵
So hopefully we will solve it quickly 🙏

We are going to celebrate Christmas already today (it is my husband and mine tradition from 2021 when we decided to do it our way). This year we are having Italian food for dinner - spaghetti Bolognese, ham as appetizer and we also bought chocolate cake this year. 🤤
For the first time we are having "big" Christmas tree (and 3 Christmas flasks). 🌲
And as a present we already got everything what we wanted this year - new home and out baby boy 🧡 So he will be only one receiving presents.
