Great post.
When it comes to the current disagreement in bitcoin:
One side prioritizes keeping blocks lean for future nodes and the ability for the next generations to self sufficently run them.
The other side says your node doesnt matter, only "economic nodes" matter. Pruned nodes are fine, and nodes cant define what a transactions purpose should be because thats "censorship".
I write this only to say rational bitcoiners who think in the long term and value pleb nodes should speak up and make their stances known.

This chart isnt accurate at all. You would need some sort of difficulty exchange rate math between SHA-256 and RandomX hashing functions.
If you took a raspberry pi and tried to mine bitcoin on it you would get hundreds of thousands of hases per second.
If you took the same raspberry pi and tried to mine monero you would get like 6 hashes per second.
The hashing functions are much different and you cant build asics for RandomX.

Just my 2sats: The Knots side needs a chain split and for the market to start to price each coin.
I dont see us winning without the economic vote of plebs showing our side has real value, until then I dont see much hashpower switching over.

Prediction: we have a contentious fork later this year. The chains never come back together.
Shitcoin core then has the genius idea to prepare corecoin bitcoin for 'quantum threat'. They blow open block size for larger transaction size + more shitcoining. You are trusting the protocol to carry your life savings into the future. Its no joking matter. You are also volunteering to store the history of the blockchain and broadcast every valid transaction without pay. Every bitcoin fork that has prioritized full node runners and the longevity of pleb nodes has won.
I'd be surprised if that isnt the case post Feb 1st. However I think knots supporters (myself included) will have to play the long game. I don't think this battle is won quickly but hopefully I am wrong.

If the chain permanently splits because core URSFs in response- he would be able to still access his tap tree on that chain. So he would have two core coins and I would be able to access the knots coins a month later.
I would follow through- even though I can just dump my shitcoin core version of bitcoin on an exchange for the monetary knots version. Might even get a pretty premium for them amid the chaos.
He's also framing these bets/markets on an extremely short time frame because he thinks it boosts his odds compared to a longer time frame.

It feels way more nuanced than that. Whatever party spending or receiving is more desperate will conceive ground on what will be accepted as payment.. many factors in that.
