What's funny is 10-15 years ago all the articles were "How this young couple bought their dream house by age 25!" And then listed all the corners they were cutting with groceries or lattes or whatever.
But the ACTUAL secret four or five paragraphs in would always be a throwaway line about how their family member (usually parents) let them stay in the spare room, wing, or house while they saved money. AND helped them with the mortgage, car payments, child care, or health insurance.

I've been trying to make batches of foods on the weekend because my week work days are long and I just can't cook (or do anything tbh) after work at 8 or 9 pm.
Ran out of time over the weekend and didn't get everything cooked that I planned, trying to catch up now before the heaviest days. I have several items fridged now and can throw on a slow-cooker spaghetti at lunch one day.

I'm always having to fill out paperwork for people's disability accommodations for work. Which I hate, because it's unpaid, laborious, arbitrary, and it takes me a lot longer than most. I don't blame my clients, I blame the corporate gatekeeping crap they're going through.
