When health care is a profit maker prevention reduces vare and therefore reduces profit, so it is not incentivised by the system. When health care is a public good, prevention makes solid econmoic sense. That is why health care should be non-profit, preferably publicly funded.

National Health and Care Research Service
National Health Service (prevention, wellness, rehabilitation, etc.)
National Treatment Service (treat illness and injury)
National Care Service (care for people with disabilities, including age-related ones).
Separate funding is needed to prevent constant firefighting only. Research often gets the short end of the stick already whenever there's a short term treatment need.

They've succumbed to the myth of trickle-down economics and think that GDP growth makes everyone better off. Redistributing the gains of the last 20 years to everyone instead of just the top 1% would shore up their electoral situation far better. Rejoining the EU's Single Market would sokve the general economic pressures as well. But, they're terrified of losing their racist voters to RE-FUK so won't do the obvious.

He was always racist and sexist. His recent transphobia may have been triggered but having to confront it in his own family, but the rest of his bigotry was already there, just waiting for the new target. This piece also ignores what we know of the cumulative effect on the brain of becoming super rich and/or powerful. It literally rots ethics, empathy, and social solidarity, and he didn't have much of that to start with (see libertarianism).

But are you able to send to GMail and Hotmail/MS Outlook online servers (now wel over 50% of accounts seem to go through there). MS and Google seem hell bent on forcing all small mail servers out with opaque DNSSec and DMARK demands that only work part of the time even if you stringently follow their published rules.
I've seen lots of long-time self email hosters give up due to "embrace, extend, extinguish" on the email protocols.
