Last Notes npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri When plebs start renting hash and building their own templates on scale, they’ll be both like in the early days. BIP110 will make this possible. npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri 🥲 npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri https://blossom.primal.net/ad30211c4b8eafe330e5f33aca5b4dab53217c9e0abf9fcc78eb5c571962dec7.gif npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri Maybe they heard out new song and got scared https://suno.com/s/je6p90ooVapaJT6F npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri New #BIP110 song just dropped. The big question is will the network follow us, and are we prepared to die on this hill. npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri That’s what I meant by putting our money where our mouths are. New node set to arrive by the end of the month. I might be late to the mining party, but I’ve run out of excuses. #nevent1q…3a6y npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri Yestr! 🫡 #nevent1q…4wek npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri I think I might be joining you. What use I have for Bitcoin if it’s just another suitcoiner’s tool. We die on this hill! 🫡 npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri Love the homages to Starship Troopers! But these articles are very Nostr unfriendly especially for folks like me who deleted xitter and never looked back. So I’d appreciate another link. 🙏Thank you for being a based miner. So few of your kind these days. npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri Big Bitcoin doesn’t care about the damage arbitrary data is doing to the protocol. Short term fiat maxis through and through. https://blossom.primal.net/42bb5eb73f38b475c5070cfe2b9c4af485eae2102692952150cc7df9cb36658a.jpg npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri Have you read it? Any good? npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri I’d certainly have to verify this but according to this guy the Bolshevik revolution was organised, paid and carried out by Wall Street. Even the entire soviet industry was rebuilt entirely be western capital. https://youtu.be/pd9B3cilgHY npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri The face of someone who’s NGMI npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri Divine 👀 npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri They are smart enough to understand that Ethereum is a failed shitcoin, so they want to scam on a credible project. npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri Still haven’t watched a single game from the World Cup. And gambling is not appealing to me. Beer is ok. npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri Is God trying to tell us something? Idk #nevent1q…0z57 npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri Saw this plate today while thinking about God and listening to an AI song I made about BIP110. The McDonald’s sign on the left is a nice touch too. 😂 https://blossom.primal.net/e34d99380ecc3f80fc06bfa2b46f937c8417a82defc650570aa49f3c8ea4ddf8.jpg npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri Oh no 🥲 so she didn’t make it. I’m really sorry man npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri After they failed to convince anyone that Bitcoin is a database (or a ledger), they switched efforts to convince you Bitcoin is “programmable” money. https://blossom.primal.net/5332ffb17f9da74b37013267f3208ebb6d9112079757ef7c967fed3f22ca73c0.jpg npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri Yeah, I get that. I was just thinking whether there is a better way to put our money where our mouth is than being degenerate gamblers. Hmmm npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri Based! Do you plan to keep mining the BIP110 blocks after the mandatory signalling, provided no other miner seems to take the risk? Because I think there are crazy plebs who will be willing to throw their legacy Bitcoin into rented hash even though they might never get to spend them. npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri Agree. But I was thinking of another way we can put our money where our mouths are. It doesn’t involve gambling but it has more downside than upside. Maybe. Idk npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri Many people haven’t seen this old video of Mechanic explaining the previous fork war. I’m kinda excited for a chain split actually. Thinking of renting hash instead of selling my bitcoin and pointing it to the BIP-110 side of the chain. At this point I don’t care if I get my dollar value back. Either way won’t be worth much if we lose this. #nevent1q…nlv7 npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri Would kinda be poetic npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri > if i had some needles and cocaine You’re one crazy mfker, you know that right 😂 I like crazy people like that, so rare. My best bro is like you npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri Glad to hear you’re better. Maybe it’s a good idea to remove the wisdom tooth while you’re still in Georgia. This will be a tough job to solve in Kyrgyzstan or Mongolia. npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri My first thought when I read this was that someone had gotten to him and either paid him a lot to write this or threatened him. I used to follow closely what Jason had to say about spam, filters, and OP_RETURN, and this just comes across as if someone hacked his account and posted this on his behalf. It feels extremely disingenuous. Nodes are supposedly between 7% and 15% (which is already quite a gap), but his data shows much less than that, with no evidence presented. Signaling over the last 60 days is at 0.6%, but currently it is around 1%, and it was 1% or higher during the last two signaling periods. The weird flex about having some kind of insider information about what other pools are running for testing (again, with no evidence presented) also feels strange to me. At the same time, he says he expects flak from both sides, but while the post is framed as neutral, it is clearly biased toward the anti-BIP-110 side. I think the entire opposing camp will praise this post. I don’t know; he could be right either way. But I can’t explain this post: the ridicule presented as neutrality when it clearly isn’t, and the timing of it, just 20 days before activation day. Also, he is the CTO of OCEAN. Since when does he care whether other pools decide to commit suicide or not? They are competitors, after all. The whole thing feels very strange to me. npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri There are no coincidences, only misinterpreted signs. npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri Their operation have been known to hide meaning in code words like pizza and other disgusting examples npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri Have to do* npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri What has lots of drugs to have with being only into girls? Can you share the whole article please? npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri I won’t be surprised if one day we learn that a lot of money has been flowing behind the scenes to certain individuals (Saylor, Odell, Samson etc) to change their tune/position as the mandatory signalling approaches. npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri What the hell, what. Why? npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri Agreed. If we turn Bitcoin in a general data storage database, you will need third parties to use it. npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri So when you’re caught at lying, this is whining and crying. Got it, moron. npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri 50% of all blockspace in the last 3 years is already filled with non-monetary data. Operating a node has become much harder and more expensive. The purpose of Bitcoin has been diluted to the point its own users don’t know if it’s money or general purpose blockchain. Each moment we waste there’s a chance a toxic content gets uploaded forever but this time as supported and sanctioned use, not as a hack. The change is not rushed, you could say it comes late. npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri Pleb slop is the best slop #nevent1q…y34d npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri 😂 npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri Pleb slop is the best slop! npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri SMDH npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri Blocks are half filled with spam and you can easily verify this: https://thebitcoinportal.com/blockspace/overview 50% non-monetary txs on average for the last 3 years, 60% in the last 90 days. GFY liar npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri It’s always a minority that resists corruption and encroachment of freedom. npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri Accurate timeline 👌 npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri It’s all of those things. The BIP110/filters movement is not a static thing with the talking points laid out in front of us to read from them. Apparently some of our arguments sticked, that’s why you have 14000+ nodes signalling. And that’s why no one is running a URSF. Nobody is going to defend large op_returns and hope that this narrative sticks. Anyway, I’m not good at writing what’s on my mind. If you want to read something more consistent and logical, read this: #nevent1q…t3px npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri What fundamental change? Faith in yourself and what He made you to be. npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri Nah, I remember when he posted this. He was humble-bragging on some documentary/interview how he tried everything to improve bitcoin after Satoshi but he didn’t succeed. I think he was just leveraging the fact that Satoshi named him in the WP to give himself more credit/importance to grift for more investors’ money. I think this guy was compromised the moment he visited the Island. Remember Jeffrey said he liked him. I’m pretty sure it’s not just an expression. npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri You’re on to something but it’s not just about the US. Then the demons decided to erase God from our lives. Things won’t improve until we let God back into our hearts. npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri What have I missed? npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri Fear is the mind killer. That’s why the most repeated line in the Bible is “do not be afraid”. 365 times, 1 for each day of the year. #nevent1q…djx7 npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri Reminds me of the time when I kept asking @nprofile…e96c if he knew that @nprofile…xh0u exists and he was just ignoring me. But the minute I began to talk shit about his overrated essays, he immediately decided to show up. npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri My read on this is that if a significant percentage of the network doesn’t react to the blatant attacks we’ve seen, it means that the immune system has stopped working and we’ve already lost. Fortunately that doesn’t seem to be true. On the other hand if the significant number of nodes (>14000) and not insignificant hash rate backing them is not enough to exert enough pressure on the industry to back up the counter attack efforts, then the power of the nodes have been diminished over the years due to erosion of culture and changing the narratives. This would be enough to undo any widely held belief that bitcoin is incorruptible and the market will price the change accordingly. I’ll let you ponder on the implications for your lifesavings. npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri Why Nostr? npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri You can’t possibly expect that a grassroots revolution starts and ends in a few days or weeks. Sometimes it takes years. Be patient and maybe destroy a flock or two yourself. Or protect people that are doing it on your behalf. npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri The opposite of faith is fear. When you start losing faith, fear comes right away to fill the void. Kinda explains why people are fearful for the future. npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri Apparently YouTube hates the word God. Sad, if some of them came out and say that, I’d show them respect. Everybody makes mistakes, few admit they were wrong. npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri You forget that Bitcoin is not trustless, it’s trust minimised. If you’re running a node, have you verified every aspect of the code? Do you know every line of code of your sparrow wallet or Electrum server. I bet you don’t. We all trust someone in this space to some degree, even the supposed “geniuses” maintaining Core. Especially them. I get the knee jerk reaction from “take the leap of faith”, but you’re taking the leap of faith every day. Bitcoiners repeating memes like gospels have gotten us to where we are today, for better or worse. npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri Exactly as Mechanic predicted months ago. If these gremlins win the spam war, then nothing stops them from pushing miners to support tail emissions or uncapping the supply of Bitcoin. These are the people fighting against BIP-110. Nodes are their natural enemies. It’s all that stands in their way. #nevent1q…0a40 npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri Finally people rising to power in a way that actually works! npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri 👀👀👀 #nevent1q…np5q npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri Nice addition to this thread! 🫡 npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri Yeah, people forget that if Bitcoin fails, Nostr by extension also fails. I wonder what these influencers would end up blaming when all the tech toys they advocate for crumble beneath their feet. I blame the devs. They blame the plebs. The biggest misconception is that BIP-110 is merely a technical proposal to stop inscriptions or limit OP_RETURN. It isn’t. At its core, BIP-110 is about preserving Bitcoin’s social contract. Every monetary system is built on shared expectations. Bitcoin is no different. It exists because millions of people coordinate around a simple idea: Bitcoin is money. That shared understanding determines how developers write software, how businesses build products, how governments regulate it, and ultimately why people assign it monetary value in the first place. Within Bitcoin there are many competing interests, all pulling in different directions. Some want censorship resistance. Some want digital collectibles. Some want permanent data storage. Some want financial settlement. These competing visions are ultimately reflected in two places: Bitcoin’s consensus rules and the default policy of its dominant implementation, Bitcoin Core. Until the end of 2025, both pointed in the same direction: Bitcoin is money. With the merge of Bitcoin Core v30, that changed. By expanding the default relay policy, Core officially acknowledged an additional legitimate use case: data storage. Consensus rules didn’t change, but Bitcoin’s default social signal did. That distinction is critical. People often respond, “Even if OP_RETURN is restricted, there are still many other ways to embed arbitrary data.” That’s true. But those methods remain hacks. A hack is an attack. It’s fundamentally different from an officially supported feature. Hacks exist despite the protocol, not because of it. They carry uncertainty. They can disappear at any time. They aren’t endorsed, documented, optimized, or defended by the ecosystem. That difference matters. If arbitrary data storage is treated as a legitimate Bitcoin use case, the network becomes an obvious target. Attackers no longer need a costly 51% attack or legislation banning Bitcoin itself. Instead, they attack everything surrounding Bitcoin. They target wallet developers. They target node operators. They target app stores. They target exchanges. They target infrastructure companies and miners. Most importantly, they attack Bitcoin’s monetary narrative. If Bitcoin becomes widely perceived as “a blockchain for storing arbitrary data,” governments will increasingly judge it by everything anyone chooses to publish forever. That dramatically expands Bitcoin’s regulatory attack surface while weakening its identity as neutral money. Money derives much of its value from social coordination. Weakening that coordination weakens Bitcoin’s monetary premium. This is why the social contract matters. BIP-110 doesn’t eliminate arbitrary data forever. Nothing realistically can. But it restores an important norm: storing arbitrary data on Bitcoin is an abuse of the network, not one of its intended purposes. Everything else BIP-110 achieves is secondary. Yes, it would severely disrupt today’s inscriptions economy. Existing businesses could adapt, but they would have to rebuild from scratch on far shaky foundations. Every future project would need to ask itself whether Bitcoin is really the right platform if its business model depends on behavior the network deliberately refuses to support. That uncertainty alone changes incentives. Many discussions around BIP-110 get lost in technical details. But Bitcoin has never been governed by code alone. Bitcoin is also governed by narratives. That’s why influential figures like Saylor, Fink and a whole entourage of government sewer dwellers spend enormous effort trying to redefine what Bitcoin is. Digital credit instead of money, digital asset instead of a cryptocurrency, digital gold instead of a payment system. The dominant narrative can either make or break this protocol’s future. If the dominant narrative shifts from “Bitcoin is money” to “Bitcoin is a general-purpose blockchain,” Bitcoin begins competing on entirely different terms - against platforms that were designed for exactly that purpose. That is a battle Bitcoin should never choose to fight. People often dismiss BIP-110 as irrelevant, unnecessary, or dead on arrival. Yet many of those same people invest extraordinary effort attacking it every single day. That contradiction should make you stop and think. If a proposal truly has no chance of succeeding, why devote so much time and energy trying to stop it? The effort betrays the intend. npub1x9q89st049pnuym57ch9kqkgzcu5dmff32wduwc4g9gnc2w3nlls8hcsg7 Tauri People keep misunderstanding what BIP-110 is trying to do because they keep listening to liars and gaslighters.
