fwiw, i don't think whipping up a mob is a good substitute for proper moderation and community management on social media platforms, and banning "brigading" was one of the most successful interventions Reddit made to get things under control. if someone posts something you don't like, my feeling is you should move on (or block/report if the behavior is causing harm).

here's an idea to keep the costs down, what if instead of delivering each purchase directly to a customer's door, we deliver items to a central spot where customers can pick them up? oh, and maybe we can even cut wait time by predicting what customers in that area typically buy and stocking them in bulk ahead of time?? maybe we even let customers see/handle the product before buying it. and we could have product pickup spots that specialize in certain kinds of products! has anyone tried this??
