@nprofile…qqrn what kinds of tasks are they doing, and how many requests can a single RTX Pro 6000 handle at a time? i would imagine if you're doing the kind of work where you can batch work and latency isn't an issue, it works great for that, but for the kind of "always available, query when you want, run lots of sub-agents" work that people expect for, like, software development, you need much bigger models that require much more hardware.

1) this is **very difficult** and **very expensive** and i don't think they will find much savings
2) the big AI labs are **constantly** tweaking their models to keep them from falling on their faces. unless you are using it for basic, repetitive tasks, whatever open-weight model you download today basically has an expiration date.

i have @nprofile…trgk running on a mini PC using one of the 8b Llama models. yeah, it takes a few seconds to generate the response, but when latency isn't an issue, small models can perfectly run on a CPU.
