Guess who decided to brew beer today and didn't check if he had enough ingredients to make it!
So now, because I don't have any aromatic hops, I raided my herbs garden for something to add at the end of the boil. Mint, rosemary and lemon balm it is!

I completely get it from the distribution point of view - it is just standard pallet size. If you need to clear warehouse you don't want to deal with opening the pallets, just with putting them in trucks.

A8: yesterday me and my brother were showing photos from our trips (my bikepacking trip, he was in Canada without bike).
So this is plush bunny with plush beer that we put outside our house whenever we have homebrew beer on tap and some "party" like this. Bit similar to how pub signs were originally used - only put outside ale houses when the beer is ready.
It is only a loosely cycling related but I love this horrible plus toy.

when I crossed to Hungary I was like yeah I haven't seen those wending machines for cigarettes in ages but no it was for bike inner tubes.

That was quick today...
I didn't check the weather, after a month I just couldn't imagine rain lol. After 25km I got drenched and looked for some cheap room, as a lucky guy, I found the cheapest place was 2km from this gutter I was sheltering in.
I would probably ride farther if I didn't discover gummed up jockey wheels when changing chain this morning, so from 10 min repair became 2h check and lubrication session...
I also get pinch flat yesterday (the inner tube started slowly leaking air) so I took the bike apart 3 days in a row...

So, I never did a proper #introduction because I am not in to those things, but after browsing the hashtag for few days I decided that maybe this is the time to make my own post.
So I am guy in 20's and mainly interested in #homebrewing #brewing and #cycling
More specifically I started brewing my own #beer when I was 15, because it was the easiest way to get alcohol at that time. It became my hobby, I moved to #cider only because I couldn't get decent one in store. And after that I worked in #craftbeer brewery.
As for #cycling I am interested in #bikepacking #biketouring #commuterbike and more of a utilitarian cycling. Right now I am touring through Europe on my bike and because I don't have anything other to do I will be doing that for about 6 months.
Sometimes I post in Czech, sometimes in English and I also repost from #lemmy where I moderate @npub15t2…nrl6
