So, this manipulative older boy ensnared one of my daughters into being romantically interested in him. It took about a year of careful maneuvering on my part, but I finally was able to break the spell without any blow back on me. Anyone have recommendations on simple "slideshow making" software? I know I can make my own show in Davinci Resolve, but I don't really want to spend the time doing all the transitions for each photo. I'm looking for a simple program that will simply take the pictures I want, make a slideshow out of them with basic transitions and perhaps dynamic zoom, and make it exportable in something like an .mp4 format.
Does such a thing exist?

I like Maker's Mark, although I think Bourbon connoisseurs consider it on the low end.

I've tried fancy Bourbon. I've tried higher proofs, Buffalo Trace, Wellers, Russels . . .etc.
They're all fine. Nothing bad to say about them.
But my palate for whiskey is terrible. I prefer cheap, garbage Bourbon to any of the fancy stuff.

Incidentally, if you've never watched the Hajime No Ippo anime, I recommend it. Weird Japanese dick jokes aside, they modeled Ippo's entire fighting style on Tyson, and it's surprisingly accurate for a cartoon.

So I try out an AI model to remove watermark from a video. It only does 5 seconds at a time. I ask the AI chat, "is there a way to remove watermark for videos longer than 5 seconds?" It tells me the free tool only does 5 secs, but if I sign up for the Pro plan I'll have access to the tool that can process longer videos. I sign up for pro, the tool says I an only do 5 secs. I ask the chat what's going on? It tells me I can just break the video into smaller 4 second segments.
I still hate AI.

I'm on a never-ending quest to find my kids' medical records which have been swallowed up into a big healthcare conglomerate which bought up our old pediatrician.
I've been trying to get these records since February 2nd.

Technically, the requirement to do some form of penance every Friday is still in force, only none of the V2 bishops care. My kids and I still do meatless Fridays all year, because that's as good a form of penance as anything else.
Notable Exceptions: Friday after Easter and the Friday after Thanksgiving (Pius XII gave Americans a special indult so they could eat up their leftover turkey).

It is foreign to those of us who grew up after V2. But that's sort of the problem. It SHOULDN'T be foreign to us. It's literally our own heritage and tradition. If you look around online, you can find episode 2 of "Mass of the Ages" which goes through the process and all the changes they made to the Mass "in the name of Vatican 2" often against the actual written documents of V2. It's eye opening to say the least.
