In an age where even a cat sneezing can be broadcast online or via satellite/terrestrial networks, ask why NO government has had the integrity to restrict ALL lobbying of Government ministers (or their civil servants etc.) to being public.
If they can hold televised inquiries, they can hold televised lobbying sessions ensuring only interactions within law and ethical codes take place.
It would go against competitivity? No, not really. Competition would just be more honest and understood. Only underhand backdoor tactics would be thwarted.
It would go against national security? Again, no. It would boost it by ensuring honest discourse and transparency, and if disclosure provably threatens lives, rare exception could be made.
So ... why is this obvious solution never proposed or implemented?
Because the systems were captured BEFORE the technologies existed.
We don't need an A.I. rollout. We need a rollout of this kind of ethical government transparency, across the globe.

Recently, I wrote that aware LGBT people who help obvious bigoted patients, clients, and customers etc. need to assert the VALUE of their contributions by withholding them, either obviously or covertly, from people who are fixated on destroying them. Otherwise they grease wheels being steered to run over them and their own kind, then others, because antisocial hating respects no boundaries and has little conscience.
In came a predictably submissive reply, a person saying they had been raised (conditioned) to be nice to everyone in order to be 'better than the problem'.
I replied that was a naivety many had died with before, and that insisting on helping only those who would not abuse you is not being 'nasty'. It is having integrity, not being a doormat or complicit.
Now look at this headline - obvious murderous genocide in plain sight. I can guess how being 'nice' would go for the person if their own loved one's life-preserving medications were cut off.
This is the real equation.

This website page has a superb, creative list of readily available foods anyone can use to replace eggs in cakes and many other forms of cooking.
Having replaced egg many times, I must say that it makes cooking a lot more interesting and creative. Instead of just bunging an egg in, and getting the same old flavour and texture, it becomes artful with the chosen replacement adding character, texture or flavour.
Results can be so good that one instantly realises the egg industry and its array of bought 'personality chefs' have been limiting and conning publics for decades.
Promoting egg usafe was a WWII -related thing, based on limited resources, limited ingredients, and exploitation of animals. The reality is that replacing them makes cooking more fun and unique.
Funnily enough, my partner cannot stand eggs and when I make scrambled tofu, the flavour comes from a small amount of black salt. Even in the next room, it causes disapproving gasps because it is so similar. 🤣

When the SPANISH economy collapsed, religion was a hierarchical tool used to demonise innocents and murder, via the Inquisition.
When the DUTCH tulip based economy was collapsing, lack of regulation or oversight enabled rampant speculation, and drove prices to unsustainable levels. Thus began scapegoating by the religious, depicting the collapse as a result of moral perversion. Of course, that bigotry caused much stigmatisation and suffering.
When BRITAIN's Empire collapsed, they demonised foreigners, Brits in poverty, the Irish etc., and this still reverberates today via the Brexit scam, as very privileged dodgy types backdoor-pay Far Right agitators and media to target immigrants, trans and whomever, stoking resentment and violence which has already caused murders.
As the USA economy sinks into debt caused by its own endless greed excesses, Hispanic, LGBT+, black people, along with ANYTHING caring ('woke') are targeted.
The handles of ALL prejudices are pulled by the privileged to distract from the obscenity of their hoarded gains and corporatised labour and wealth extraction/theft from the public, and they try to grab from other countries to offset their inevitable downward spiral. The gullible and uninformed make little sense of it - it doesn't align with decades of exploitation-based propaganda.
The rot is not foreigners supposedly wanting to get into the country. It's not trans people or other LGBs. It's not Mexicans, Venezuelans, or the whomevers.
It's the maggot riddled inethicality of greed - the exploitative mindset of propagandising freedom in a country made ridiculously corpulent by harmful industries, endlessly selling out its populations for the gain of the already obscenely privileged who narcissistically play 'poor me' narratives and judge loudly to stop others pointing out their obvious, socially toxic shortcomings.

How many people who stream content or use cloud services are facing reality that US-owned services will be meddled with by book-burner crazies?
If you want guaranteed continued access to your favourites, or not to be left with versions censored by corrupting crazy US hate narratives, be sure you have your own copies, preferably ordered from elsewhere.
Do not rely on previous norms when narrative is being psychopathically warped.

Democracy is NOT failing around the world. This is a false narrative.
The *pseudo-democracy* the wealthy and privileged have been skimming off and escalating by buying media and social media, for decades, is what failed publics.
Understanding this is key to dissolving the sold delusion that narcissistic authoritarianism is anything other than escalation of the ongoing, already resented problem. Its architects hoard the money/power taken from publics.

Sad to read that Ibiza clubbing is now inhibited by invasive camera phones and Instagram/Tik Tok mentality. Narcissistic need to show off is killing the freedom of it, apparently.
At least a partial solution is been used:
