Die Glasflasche kann im #Sodastream Crystal beim Sprudeln übrigens ziemlich spektakulär platzen, wie es mir heute nach Jahren zum ersten Mal passiert ist.
Ein lauter Knall, Wasser schoss ringsum am Bajonettverschluss heraus, und die Verriegelung ging nicht mehr auf.
Grund: kleine Glassplitter hatten den Verschluss blockiert, das größte Stück war der Boden, ein Teil der Flasche wurde zu "Glasschlamm", der schwierig aus dem Behälter zu bekommen war.

The size of this operation sounds more like "The offsite backup went to the lowest bidder, and the lowest bidder was a door sign belonging to the NSA or Mossad (or maybe Taiwan?)"

And many of these appliances could easily get the current time (via NTP, radio clock, GPS,...) or do not really need a clock.

"Center of the sun" costs unnecessary much energy. "Orbit around the sun" or "trajectory to mars" is cheaper but achieves the same goal.
