GN good people. Tomorrow is another day.

GN.

The requisite post-Masses Red Bull. Let my day off begin.

GM. It’s 5.5 hours of flurry and then I get to relax.
GN all, and hope you have a blessed Sunday.

I'd just go out of theirs way
One thing hearing tens of thousands of confessions has taught me over the last 16 years: you can't "fix" anyone. This is particularly hard for us males, who want to take a wrench and hammer to every problem we see.
The good news is that none of us are on to fix anyone else. That's all entirely up to them and their acceptance of the grace required to make a change.
It's all grace. So just love someone in their imperfections, support them, and get out of God's way.
One thing I think the Monero community has right: they view it as a currency by the very nature of its privacy, rather than as something to "stack." Transactions are its purpose.
BTC, on the other hand, is an option on the commodities market at this point. :simpsons:

Perhaps there's a paradox here that is difficult to reconcile: on the one hand, the correct notion that electricity is ordered towards centralization, which I think it is.
On the other: what we do with the tools we have. Centralized services are a real problem, as they work contra subsidiarity. We need to work in the opposite direction in general.
PCA. Two innings, two homeruns. Love him or hate him, he's probably wrapped up NL MVP.

Good afternoon. Lazy morning Saturdays are my preferred, but rare, and I got one.

@npub1gcx…rv4n posted on the old Cathedral of St. Louis earlier this week, but there's another wonderful treasure in North America: The Basilica of St. Josaphat, which I visited today for the second time.
I dragged along my father, who isn't exactly a church-goer, and when he stepped in, his first words were, "Oh, wow."

(It's still really amusing to me. Imagine being mad because Dolly was a pro-vaxxer in 2026. Who cares.)
I didn't laugh at the death. I laughed at the notion that anyone could laugh at it. 😂 It amused me that one could be so petty about political, worldly things.
The intention, always, is to draw the eyes upward in a place like this -- which is symbolic of that very search.
And then we went to Milwaukee's Public Market and ate lobster roll and oysters.
The End. GN, all.

One must wonder if the Holy Father is over the whole White Sox thing by now... I know I am.

A blessed Friday. Gonna run up to MKE and enjoy some seafood. Yes, seafood. In Milwaukee.

Ordering something from AliExpress is an adventure. Like watching the Odyssey evolve real-time via email notification. Travel safely, Chinese junk, and Godspeed.
GM all. Here's a more obscure one to start your day, with some interesting guitar work.

OK well YOU tell me where beans should go then, because I'm running out of options
Blood is water, the moon pulls on water with gravity.
Also “it’s the parasites 🤓” 😂.
Survived the priest meeting. Actually left early. Not because of the content, but because the place was an ice chest. No blame cast: this is the time of year where it's impossible to regulate indoor temps in a commercial space in the Midwest, but at -115 lbs, I can't handle cold like I used to.
GN all, and don't go putting any beans up your noses.

There's a coffee truck at this conference, so at least there's that.
Gonna Nostr my way through this, folks.

Same. I never seem to sleep well when the moon is full; creature of the night.
GM. Two hours of sleep so we’ll see how this goes. Forced fun priest gathering today, which is as droll as it sounds.
Yet another night where I sleep 20 minutes and am up for hours. 🤷
Yesterday I made a list of all my fall activities. Even booked a mushroom excursion 🥳
GN all.

Yeah, funding Moderna and calling me a coward for not taking poison kinda ruined her for me.
This made me lol in public. Nice work.
It's still flirting with 80 degrees out yonder but I'm calling it anyway: Hoodie weather is back!
Because I needed some cheering up, I just discovered Weird Al did a Tiny Desk last week.

So many bangers over the course of her career, but this is the song critics and other musicians consistently point to as her very best. Wonderfully written and performed.

Ah man...
RIP Dolly Parton. Very sad. Her impact on music was immense, and she was a heck of a gal to boot.
Still find myself fascinated by the total rejection of data centers in the U.S. Americans are a hard sell, and the manufactured hype train around AI hasn't done much to convince Joe Average he should care.
Everybody always wants to heat on the fanny pack until you're traveling with everything you need in comfortable ease.
GM Nostr. Keep posting weird.
Hope you ain't adding to the weight with the pancake house visits 😁
Why, yes. Yes, it was.

Amazing, and one of my favorite places to visit when I'm down that way.
The other is a pancake house. 😂
That's absolutely terrible. Prayers for the family.
