Thanks! Aaah! Of course... the xml file hash "url" will change at every update 😓 .. hmmmm...
oh but... what if it is the index returned by the root addreaa? That's defined by the manifest isn't it?

I mean Kruse is just a fabulist. He doesn't care, and is going to keep doing his schtick. I think Kratter and Mechanic are a little more self-aware than that.
It all worked and I actually have this stuff built into a test version of @npub10z4…x7l3 even the nsite stuff. It's been a while since I worked on it but I think the issue was that you upload a rss feed to bloosm, get a hash for it and that's fine but make one change and reupload that feed and you get a new hash and then apps need to know what that new hash is.
RSS stuff is all built assuming your feeds url isn't going to change.

CBS News reports that the Pentagon has asked Congress for new authority to withhold certain "Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)" from release under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). According to the proposal, the War Department could deny disclosure if it determines the records reveal national defense vulnerabilities and that the potential harm from release outweighs the public interest.
Supporters argue the change would close gaps in existing law and provide more consistent protection for sensitive, but unclassified, defense information from foreign adversaries. The Pentagon says the proposal is intended to strengthen national security protections, not create a blanket exemption.
Critics, including transparency advocates and civil liberties groups, argue existing FOIA exemptions and the classification system already provide mechanisms to protect genuinely sensitive information. They warn the proposal could make it more difficult for the public and journalists to scrutinize the Pentagon's activities and spending by creating a broader basis for withholding records that are not formally classified.

Early this morning, Ukrainian USVs struck a pair of Russian shadow fleet oil tankers in the eastern Black Sea.
Both tankers were disabled, as Ukraine continues to work towards shutting down the Black Sea to Russian shipping.

NEW from Iain Davis
In Part 1, Iain Davis defined the Praxians, considered their openly stated control of the Trump administration, and examined their extensive partnerships with the Israeli defence technology sector. In Part 2, Davis considered global events through the lens of State Crimes Against Democracy (SCADs) and noted how civil-military fusion and hybrid war, combined with SCADs, are socially engineering a proposed new global “equilibrium.”
Here in Part 3, he delves into how global forces have aligned behind the Praxian vision of a Network Empire in the march toward a UN 2.0 Multipolar World Order.

A lone bee isn't all that concerning, but a swarm is a big problem.
Similarly, a lone camera capturing data in a public space isn't a big deal, but a flock of them is.

So folks in a supply chain would have badges that can be verified when the bag of coffee is bought?
I consider communication and commerce to be necessary as such
the domains in nsites are just gateways. An nsites can has many gateways as you have available. Of course it needs a client that can swap gateway. For the feed part, xml feeds are static too, until you update them. Kinda like the static webapps hosted on nsite. What problema did you encounter?
Don't know why your kind comment only came through now, but thank you!
know that you have a home on wss://basspistol.org Feel free to reach out if you are unsure what that means :lovemega:
Sami's GoFundMe campaign got rugged. But now you can donate to him with Bitcoin, through Nostr, to a wallet he directly controls (only cool clients like Ditto and Amethyst can see the event below)

This is rather impressive performance for such low end hardware.
The RAM impact is unfortunate though…I wonder what the plot would look like going over generations of hardware/ram combinations. I’m pretty sure my bitbodes b1 running at 2.5 watts had 1 GB RAM (https://github.com/FinalHashLLC/bitnodes-hardware) and I’m pretty sure that won’t cut the mustard today, so to speak.
GM guys. Let's take a moment to appreciate how inherently challenging it is to build decentralized systems. Just think if all we had to do was trust a big central database. It would be insanely convenient, and we'd have a lot more bandwidth to focus on the things that matter like UX. Solving decentralized systems is an entire class of problems which logarithmically increases UX challenges.
Building here is not for the faint of heart. Normies couldn't fathom it. That makes us a special breed. Keep pushing.
lol I though you meant we were having a party for 500 at 10:00. I'll see myself out.
PGP web of trust idea rears its head again! Long history behind this problem!

I've played with this stuff some but changing/updating RSS feeds and static Nostr events don't mix well. You can do some cool stuff with them but it all still points to a domain name at some point so you're not really fixing the problem and just making it more complicated imo.
This episode covered this all well I think.

Relays that want to be public or semi-public need more ways to discern an npub that has a real person behind it from an automated sybil attack, and this is a great idea.
But instead of selling npubs someone should sell badges.
But if you're doing it from a physical location then a badge could just be given for free as long as the process can't be automated.
#nevent1q…c33p
Then we will just need someone to manually collect a list of of these badges are worth an npub be recognized as a human and relays can pick from that.
Former Ukrainian Minister of Defence Fedorov:
The war has changed completely. Drone technology changes constantly, new capabilities and new features appear at least four times a year.
Technology itself evolves 20 to 30 times within a single year. The entire system of command and control has changed, and we must change with it.
We cannot keep relying on what worked back then.

It's not that these people need Bitcoin or anything, it's that the people who need it need that these people also use it, so they have to be led into using it even though they don't care.
There is also the greater goal of starving the State and associated evil elites of their money-printing machine, and that can't be achieved unless basically everybody is using money they can't print.
i did in high school once. yes, it's been that long.
