Its required to sample it at least once and say "bitchin"
but after that you have no further responsibilities
What model provider are you using?
I should have a local agent for LAN management
No thats not a thing.
Do you have a stable public IP address?
Share only subaddresses. Because why not? And it might help you some when the chain is decrypted in the 22nd century.
tfw you support somebody elses wrong conclusion just because they agree with you
Neither of y'all have done your research.
For people like me, that don't want to click Twitter links:

Yeah, for soap and any merchant who doesn't need to interface with fiat.
I think that anything that is actually a legitimate threat to their grift will be throttled to death in that way.
So sure, save in Bitcoin. Maybe we get some permissioned wealth increase.
Its just not why I got into it.

I mean controlled in the sense use-cases will follow how the big players decide it should be available to people.
I'm aware some maxis will argue Bitcoin is "still working as designed" even when you need to pay a North Korean miner 15% and wait two days to get your transaction mined.
It will just get to the point where if you need to transition to fiat, your exchange will need proof of funds and it will be a big hassle.
Ie, friction on the on/off ramps will constrict sovereign usage to the point of being economically negligible.
But sure, maybe the purchasing power of the kyced surveilled utxos goes up. Then early adopters like Saylor etc can muscle their way into the club, set up banks and start doing fractional lending on Bitcoin. Which is obviously the play.
You and I will have nonkyced, self custodies utxos we can use to buy soap
Or we can send them to an exchange to use inside their walled garden for a 40% tax penalty.
Seems like the obvious, most likely outcome, so when I see people say "this was always the plan" or whatever I wonder if I'm seeing the same thing as other people.
theres clearly demand for Bitcoin exposure via ETFs etc. sure maybe those function similar to the gold markets as a hedge against inflation.
Which is fine and all
but none of that "adoption" has anything to do with Bitcoin as freedom money.
In the meantime, the assholes who run the banks need more assets to rehypothecate so they can keep the grift going. Bitcoin is perfect for them, another meme most people don't really understand they can sell as a "hedge".
So I don't understand the confidence of people who say "this was always the plan. freedom money is inevitable" It doesn't square up in any way I can see.
Doesn't BTC just end up a controlled asset like gold?
Ie, something many people *supposedly own but nobody actually takes custody of?
Gold is "hard money" (Monero is harder but I digress) and it doesn't matter AT ALL to the greater financial space.
How is Bitcoin going to end up differently?
The argument is "Bitcoin was always going to change the system from within" right?
I'm just asking how you can be confident that institutional purchase will have any positive effect anywhere.

If you think some 3-letter agency controls 90% of the monero inputs,
I think we can safely disregard your issues with monero.
Who wouldve thought that personal verification would have a cost?
Its just wrong to he a Bitcoin maxi
100 AMD Ryzen 5950s
Just getting whatever modern CPUs you can and getting them hashing is best.
Why?
Do you think a single adversary controls enough outputs to identify the true spend?
I have a self-hosted lnadr instance that calls back to my node. I took it down after the BTCpay problems last week.
Appreciate the thought.
Good question, there are five distinct eras that need their own audit path.
I have temporarily repurposed my #Monero miners to check the validity of all the transactions.
This means making sure EVERY output that has EVER been spent has a valid range proof and couldn't inflate the monero supply.
Obviously I don't expect to find anything, The fact that they're on the chain indicates they fit the consensus rules. I'm doing it for my own education and for basic verification.
Also
Don't hold your breath for breaking news, it will take weeks.
I already knew Bitcoin was captured 😕
Bezüglich Canary: wenn vergessen, neue Signatur etwas später, easy. Wenn in Haft oder unter Zwang, keine neue Signatur.
Nicht perfekt, trotzdem nützlich.
Tell me you don't understand open source software without telling me....
Neither bip110, hww hacks or nostr adoption have any effect on how I'm going to live my life.

Evidence Bitcoin is "devouring the fiat system before our eyes?"
Because it sure seems to me adoption and sovereign usage are DOWN.
For me personally Bitcoin is the black pill and Monero is the white pill.
When I look at Bitcoin, I see an ambitious project that started with its heart in the right place. But over the years it got captured and corrupted.
Then there is the little sibling of Bitcoin named Monero. It saw what happened to the older one and tried to learn from its mistakes. And so far it seems to me, that it got most stuff mostly right. There were a few lessons learned on the way, but overall Monero gives me hope. Hope that we can fight back against the giant machinery that tries to crush us all. Hope that all that it takes is a few courageous rebels, that uphold their ambitious values and fight for them.
Nice FUD there bro.
Corrupting Monero isn't the same as attacking it.
The group that did the selfish-mining-attack, were NOT able to have a sustained 51% attack. There is a paper that has all the data about that incident: https://arxiv.org/pdf/2512.01437
That the attacker abused an inflation bug is complete nonsense. The only inflation bug that was found was many years ago, got fixed immediately and the research trying to check for an actual usage of that inflation bug found basically nothing. https://www.moneroinflation.com/
I don't want to speculate why you're spreading this level of FUD, but maybe do some actual research next time.
Also all Monero devs that have more rights have build trust with the community over years. Ontop of that every major/important code change gets audited from third parties before it gets deployed to mainnet.
I think you were talking about Zcash.
Do you have any argument/hint/data that suggests Monero could actually be a fed coin?

HW wallets are insecure, use USB stick + Tails OS + desktop wallet is much securer
#nevent1q…vykc
#nevent1q…ha52
#nevent1q…he9h
HW wallet is an obvious visual indicative that the user is involved with crypto, a common USB stick with Tails that won't be obvious (although could rise suspicion about possible crypto ownership)
HW wallets sucks, you won't have a great level of plausible deniability if you use them

I guess I don't know how QR codes work
Are all psbt QR codes interchangeable between devices?
Is there a QR format that is agreed upon?
I feel like there should be a way to get a TX into Sparrow. Does it already do it?
Yeah
Stuff you could do over 14.4 ❤️
