Yeah, the video I saw was some asian gymnast who like rolled her neck in a deadly way. Sorry to share the image, just didn't wanna leave any mysteries.
More power to you. Just please don't land on your neck 🙏
I saw a video on Twitter once that horrified me of this move ever since
Oh wow, had no idea. That's awesome! You could do all the things I've seen in the olympics? Like beam, high bar, etc.?
Does nostr work? https://idiotbox.blossom.band/74fd3f2a54487fedf6c5e11cd17e97863f39bab9674ad9e576ea1307e35f5e38.mp4
Usually for me it's relay set ups/internal/external tor proxies/ clients that don't like something somewhere upstream or down stream from whatever VPN location I'm currently connected to 😂
Expectations and timeframes.
Funny thing them.

People need to stop trusting that clients are acting in their best interests. @nprofile…jv6s was created for an adversarial environment.
That's a time for a reductive gif.

I’m still removing it from every app where it was hardcoded, no matter what. No one should depend on points of failure.

Reminder that Tim Dillon is the god of comedy. Thinking otherwise is wrong and it's the reason we can't be friends.
This feature is coming in the 1.6.0 update, should be available in a few days!

Yeah. For a space heater for sure.
It was on sale for sub $1000 (which depreciating value of miners doesn't seem great now 😂) and I had a moment of weakness.
But. The fucker throws out some real nice heat on those cold nights. Guess I'll see how long it lasts 🥲
If you’ve never tried to build an app that uses a remote signer, you can be forgiven for not understanding how much it makes one want to jump off a bridge, or walk into highway traffic. If remote signers are the best way to use Nostr we will never attract any new users.
That said, Mutable works well with @nprofile…qvrr for iOS in a test I did just now, and I’ve also got it running on Amber on my trash Samsung.

History is nice when the present is all fake though. That said, I just play it by ear and improvise on the spot.
I don't think it would even require an organized aggressor. Enough disorganized internal aggressors would probably get the job done just fine.
I snagged a Canaan mini 3 for my bedroom last year during the last half of winter. It was great. I'd like to get another/something else and stick it in my living room someday. Since I'm already running a space heater that pulls more watts than the mini 3.
Just can't bring myself to spend that much on my obsessions right now.
If you make it thin enough.
A hamburger is a protein pancake.
I doubt improving the specs will do anything at this point now that many implementations are already live. I still think remote signing is the best way to use Nostr, so I hope support can improve over time.

Yeah, reminds me of the push and pull arguments I've heard discussed when it comes to medieval weaponry and what not. Again, not well versed enough to expound, but we've all heard the broad strokes. Kinda see BTC and cryptography as such as such technological breakthroughs that pull back toward individual freedom (not saying anything new, I'm aware)
I can't wait for winter. High oil bills. High electric bills. High of about 60 terahashes.
... I need more hashrate.
One hotel we stayed at goes through an average of 172 liters of beer for every man, woman, and child who stays there each year.

We've moved to sharing a meal, already, as we're exhausted from the portions.
You know what I was just thinking that Bitcoin needs?
More fiat speculation!

I don’t have the patience to keep debugging remote signers at the moment, especially for an operating system I don’t use. It’s stable for a while and then this or that update or new signer breaks something.
Maybe if the spec were better it could just work. I use NIP-07 on browser almost exclusively so I never have these problems.
That said, PRs are open!
You uploading to your new account will not restore the URLs, this is by design. We cannot allow someone to hijack your URLs with ill intent in the same way.
"the state owns all land"
Very cool essay.
i wonder what @nprofile…7l0j has to say about it...
Technically yes, but if someone knows the hash (sha256) of it they could access it. With an account you can unlink the upload from Blossom too, which only makes the accessible url able to access the content. When uploading to the account via your account page than there is no linking to Blossom at all. To summarize, yes, but you don’t need Blossom if you just want to upload your media for your own usage. We do not post anything to any relays, it’s a function of the client.
Same haha, for that reason.
A guy singing in metal has got to be really good. Otherwise they all sound the same, and it doesn't hit.
A large portion of my library is female vocalist symphonic and gothic metal. And even then, I'm sure there's a lot of bands in that category I still don't really like.
Somehow the only nightwish album I like is the one without an opera singer lol. Never heard of those other two.

I find this thought experiment is very helpful in understanding *how we got into this position over the last few hundred years
I am not sure. Something has certainly happened. Probably the AI generated slop takeover.
Yeah, was skimming through the replies. I try not to be too much of an idealist for these types of reasons. It seems there are lots of "suboptimal" equilibria that can form, and escape via some ideal is not possible as it's too big a leap away from the Nash equalibrium you're stuck in. I don't have very well articulated thoughts about it, just kinda vaguely where I find myself often sitting. Not happy about it, but kinda stuck with systems we had no say in, it seems.
I've noticed that mutable has trouble staying logged in via remote signer on graphene + amber. Have you seen any problems with it? Closing the site and coming back forces re-login, but the existing bunker uri doesn't work to reconnect. I have to make a new bunker.
Is damus relay still shutting down eom? @npub1xts…kk5s
The general consensus seems to be either:
organize into a government for protection
OR
become an insurgent and head for the hills.
But some interesting thoughts about human society and organization and how/ why it happens
Will read what I assume you were referring to as the "thoughtful replies," but in short, I'm afraid that "yes" is the answer. Have had a similar thought form recently, though less well articulated.
Dunno but I've noticed the same.
I wish I hadn't screwed up my lnd node last night
I could zap all these awesome thoughtful replies!
Then it ceases to be anarchy and we are back to large nation-states?
ie, @nprofile…pncj hope for a pure anarchist society is too vulnerable to survive if there's an organized aggressor?
