It’s the natural product cycle. Things start off great with a founder building the product who makes good decisions. Then they get a team and must move up market and must find a way to charge more for the same product to support salaries.
For teams it’s absolute shit. They use dark pattern pricing too to trick you into upgrading. Started out good but turned to shit. Team UX barely ok.
Fuck Figma. 🤣

I have a few acquaintances who are doing well now (over 1M in ARR) but I have seen people with 100m ARR too. Bootstrapped.
You don’t need to raise money. Plenty bootstrap. We have all the tools now to build things. Just have to learn what you don’t know along the way. X is actually a good place for that. Many good founders there.

Recently heard of acquired savant syndrome. Super fascinating. People essentially experience some sort of trauma or injury and acquire skills like playing instruments, instant calculation, new languages, etc

How do you evolve a public ledger that forever keeps a record of every transaction and must interface with fiat?
Only a utopian dream might explain how that works out perfectly in the end.
People don’t want to admit that Bitcoin was not perfect from conception. They’d rather bend over backwards justifying its shortcomings (lack of privacy) than recognize them and accept trade off solutions.
Bitcoin as cash was always a flawed idea. I don’t know why Satoshi did not anticipate mass global surveillance apparatus if the scarcity angle made it ever more valuable in fiat. Something tells me he didn’t anticipate it taking off

The yen continues to tank. It was at 160 per usd and the Japanese govt did something to drop it to 157 (or less?) over night. Now it’s almost back at 160.
