‘Dinheiro esquecido’ nos bancos diminui depois de manobra do governo

Segundo informações divulgadas pelo https://www.bcb.gov.br/ na terça-feira 14, ainda estão disponíveis para resgate cerca de R$ 6,2 bilhões por meio do https://www.bcb.gov.br/meubc/valores-a-receber. Os dados se referem a maio de 2026.
Por meio desse serviço, é possível consultar se pessoas físicas ou empresas têm algum dinheiro “esquecido” em bancos, consórcios ou outras instituições financeiras.
De acordo com o BC, R$ 4,4 bilhões estão disponíveis para pessoas físicas, enquanto R$ 1,8 bilhão pode ser resgatado por empresas.
Ao todo, mais de 24 milhões de brasileiros e 2,2 milhões de empresas podem resgatar o dinheiro.

Por que o ‘dinheiro esquecido’ diminuiu
Nos meses anteriores, o valor “esquecido” nas instituições financeiras girava em torno de R$ 10 bilhões.
Em maio, o https://revistaoeste.com/tag/governo-federal/ informou que utilizaria de R$ 5 bilhões a R$ 8 bilhões dos recursos “esquecidos” nos bancos para viabilizar descontos no chamado Desenrola 2.0, novo programa de renegociação de dívidas.
Na ocasião, cerca de R$ 5,7 bilhões foram direcionados ao Fundo de Garantia de Operações (FGO) para oferecer garantias a instituições financeiras, o que significa que parte desse valor deve ser usado para cobrir eventual calote de tomadores de crédito.
O FGO é um fundo privado que garante parte do risco de crédito em empréstimos e financiamentos, facilitando o acesso ao dinheiro para empresas que têm poucas garantias para oferecer aos bancos.

Esses valores não estão dentro do limite de gastos que deve ser seguido pelo governo – que, em tese, não podem crescer mais de 2,5% ao ano (acima da inflação).

- Faça login na conta https://www.gov.br/pt-br (nível prata ou ouro). Caso não tenha conta em alguns dos dois níveis, adiante o cadastro ou aumente o nível de segurança (no caso de contas tipo bronze) no site ou no aplicativo Gov.br.
- Leia e aceite o termo de responsabilidade.
- Verifique o valor a receber, a instituição que deve devolver o valor e a origem (tipo) do valor a receber.
- Escolha a opção, entre as indicadas pelo sistema: “Solicitar por aqui”, para devolução do valor via Pix, em até 12 dias úteis; ou “Solicitar via instituição”, voltado para usuários que não têm Pix.
Dinheiro a receber
O BC esclarece que os valores esquecidos são referentes a:
- Conta-corrente ou poupança encerrada com saldo disponível.
- Cotas de capital e rateio de sobras líquidas de ex-participantes de cooperativas de crédito.
- Recursos não procurados de grupos de consórcio encerrados.
- Tarifas cobradas indevidamente.
- Parcelas ou despesas de operações de crédito cobradas.
- Contas de pagamento pré ou pós-pagas encerradas e com saldo disponível.
- Contas de registro mantidas por corretoras e distribuidoras encerradas com saldo disponível.
- Outros recursos disponíveis nas instituições para devolução
