The trending relay from wisp has been integrated as a relay feed on the home page. I sped up a lot of the feeds and did some bug-fixing. Never run out of bugs to fix. I also added a universal note creator, to join the universal editor. So, use my app to publish, clone, or replace anything you want.

i took a wide and deep haitus from nostr and am visiting it much more sparingly now. much better.
in the future i hope to use it purely as Other Stuff applications and close to zero "social feed" scrolling. as the ecosystem develops this will become easiar.
It's the grind. The devs almost all bow out in the medium term because of the never-ending grind. AI doesn't stop the grind; it makes it more relentless and gives you more code and infrastructure to grind.

I can't seem to sign in. It lets me roll a random profile but no signing in with my keys. Some of the buttons just don't work.
My only problem with that is it means my score and streaks are all messed up so @nprofile…mjzq is smug about being better than me even though he isn't.

OpenStreetMaps has lots of offline maps you can put on an Android tablet. And you can download Wikipedia pages for a lot of the locations on the maps.

There's an e-ink reader called Remarkable (clever name, eh), which came out with a Pro version that does colors too, and has a slightly larger screen. I have the non-pro one and salivate sometimes about the colors (and larger screen, gd it!), so am glad it's not that exact one.

I use mine a reasonable amount in bursts, then not at all for a couple weeks, then again for a while... all in all I'm happy with it, assuming it doesn't break for another few years.

The sooner the better, imho. It's a little daunting at first, as you feel late to the game, can't even keep all the vendors and model names straight (the space moves so gd fast), at least it was and still is for me, but a couple times now I've reached some aha/wow realization of just how useful and empowering this shiz is. I'm doing stuff for work that is very useful, fancy, and that I'd never have been able to do previously, and I scarcely understand how any of this stuff works!
