At least you're trying things. I'm maybe less affected because I didn't wholesale switch to wisp, but you do you 👍
I think you are confusing people.
He was talking about kind 10133 payment targets, not monero-zaps. It's just a way to attach a standard-format list of payment addresses to a profile. All of those addresses could be Bitcoin addresses. It's not a monero-specific request.
Here is the main problem we have: **Nobody actually knows what a zap is!**

cashu is great privacy. the protocol offers better privacy than monero, except for network privacy.
its just that cashu is a shitcoin the issuing mint promises you can redeem for BTC.
whereas monero is sovereign p2p cash.
unclear why we disintermediated trusted 3rd parties with BTC
only to reintroduce them with ecash mints.
Even still, my nsec has to be involved in a bitcoin transaction now. I just wanted it to sign some notes. That is opt-in. This is not opt-out.
Tailscale on my phone. Not on desktop. I’ve just been burned by Yarn before.

why in the world where we have OTP that can be self hosted, are companies still using SMS verification.
it blows my mind
Hear me out.
A bot(s) that mimicks your npub's every event in case UTXO reks your nsec.
I'm sure you could probably do this in a much easier way but I'm retarded so this is the best I have.

The issue is. I don't think there is a form for the IRS that says "I received funds. They're in my name, but I'm saying no to them. I don't want them." You're leaving me with no choice except torch my nsec and go back to twitter.

I'll have to explore what magic llamacpp is doing. Ollama already dropped cuda support for turing and older so I need to migrate away anyway. Hot swapping models from my ui is one of the more important features I need though.

cash out to bitrefill gift cards seems like a cool idea
I never use them but I sent you one. Curious whether it makes it 😂
Oh. Still. I can't get close to that. Im closer to 30gb in use with 128k (8gb of layers are swapped off to system memory)
Blank/broken image, on both Wisp and Jumble.
... und Gänseblümchen essen, ziemlich gesund 😉
Where the fuck are all the scammers when you actually need them?
#nevent1q…a2f2
No they are looking at nostr notes (not looking inside the lightning network). Big difference
Refuse to move funds tied to their nsec and instead ask zappers to send them funds with payment targets.

yeah thanks but I don't have time to maintain a nostr client
and tbh I don't think a client that handles money is something to be developed casually
Maybe it's not. I'm trusting a Dev either way. The logic for me is that I gave it to Amber and not a bunch of other apps. I figure that reduces the attack surface but nothing is 100%. Ideally, my nsec would have been like my Bitcoin cold seed from the start, but we didn't have that UX back then.

And have fun with the tax man
This seems rational and reasonable. It's also hardly different than the fiat alternatives. YouTube at least gives you a popup. It's fiat only I think, but the UX is similar. If you have the equivalent of a card on file (a Lightning wallet or whatever, it would work).
This would probably slow zaps down a bit but there's no reason (I'm dumb on this, maybe there is) we can't automate where it makes sense. Like if I have a Lightning wallet, they have a Lightning address, just do the zap.
