Hit the nail on the head. Just because you adopt Bitcoin doesn't mean you stop being what a fiat world made you. I see so many bitcoiners just continue being their fiat selves with Bitcoin trim.
But the most I see it is among developers. I think it has to do with the fact that developing software is not unlike being a politician. You write rules for how other people's computers will run with no recourse for the user to fight back. It's the antithesis of the Bitcoin ethos.
