Soon Gas Prices in Ethereum might be cheaper than actual Gas Prices for Cars.
But they’re both cheaper than Onchain Zap Fees.
In June of 2010 I was accused to conspire to access a public API for the iPad 3G exposed by AT&T and Apple that fed user data to the whole internet via an unauthenticated integer that you could simply increment, and the government claimed I violated the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act as well as engaged in identity theft for sending a sample of this data to a journalist while outlining to the public exactly how this data impacted them. I insisted that accessing a public webserver was not a crime, and the court agreed in the dicta of my appeals ruling (though they vacated my sentence and freed me early on the basis of Article II venue). The incredibly funny thing is that AT&T, the alleged “victim”, did not think my access was unlawful, and lobbied in private for the case to be dropped. Their witness at trial was on record writing in internal emails “no security was bypassed. I don’t think they [the feds] have a case.” They were actually mystified that I was prosecuted, but the false, malicious, and capricious indictment was just a proxy punishment. I’d been hunted and harassed by the FBI for years. They even tried to frame me for threats to a synagogue (which their own informant called in, and they subsequently published my name as “potentially responsible” for) as well as once trying to frame me for bioterrorism. They just wanted to arbitrarily put me in prison and torture me for my political statements. For more information on how the government is a bunch of scheming, lying criminals that clearly justify Timothy McVeigh and Andrew Stack’s heroism, if you are truly interested in understanding the case at hand, the various amicus and appellate briefs are still available via the EFF website, and quite illuminating:

For an layman’s explanation you can watch “The Hacker Wars” and “Troll Inc”, available on various streaming services and I imagine also via piracy. Hacker Wars is available freely on YouTube, though Troll Inc is the superior film.

Everyone is complaining about Onchain Zaps when Jack Dorsey is the only one who can actually afford one.

Buggy client can do that https://nostr.land/ , Nostur, https://metadata.nostr.com/ , & citrine help mitigate this.
Buggy clients tend to broadcast empty Kind 3 events.
Sometimes conflicting wallets can cause issues.
It’s usually best to just stick with one provider, Alby, Primal, CoinOs, etc.
For some reason having multiple can cause issues with NWC.
That’s as far as I know.

Reuploading this Sparta remix since its lost media now, its one of my favorite sparta remixes (or even pieces of music) of all time, the original title said it was a Sparta remix, although at this point is it really one?
Original creator is XC, Upload date is I believe late 2024?

What did you go to jail for?
Desses avisos, só 2, 3 e 7 devem ser levados a sério. O resto é encheção de linguiça ou algo que é problema seu. Fique longe de libertários e Bitcoiners sempre que puder.

Time to break out the purple Speedo’s.
@nprofile…kudq Since you boosted/reposted this note, did you notice what is going on with onchain zaps recently here? Amethyst and Ditto have implemented these, and they use your nsec as a Bitcoin wallet, which causes address reuse with all its consequences.
I've listened to couple of episodes of the Hell Money Podcast recently
At 39m13s into this, they said that BlockStream had tried - and failed - to launch a sidechain: "They never figured out a way to do sidechains that had tradeoffs that they found acceptable"
I don't know if the Hell Money Podcast ever has guest episodes, buy maybe they should have someone from @npub1jg5…6n8n to discuss Liquid 😀
I would tag the hosts, Erin Redwing and Casey Rodarmor, but I don't think they're on Nostr

That’s weird you’re geographically closer to the news in this case 😆

It only seems that way to you. Most people don't care about you at all. Politeness is just a social convention. It can be present or absent.

Well, I gotta guard my 27p, gotta make sure no goblins try to steal my pennies!
Well, not entirely against onchain tips/zaps, but the NIP-BC proposal is definitely not the right way for this. Either PM8T (BIP-47) or Silent Payments (BIP-352), or at least anything that doesn't put anyone's financial privacy in unneccessary danger.
What I don't understand is why people would play a game like badminton when it's literally called bad, why not play goodminton?

Considering the 2 letters I had, it was just a wild stab in the dark, I was about 80% certain it wasn't going to be the correct answer, but it was🤷🏻♂️😂.
