What's funny is that one job I applied to has been unfilled in my hospital for about six months. I could have already been in the job and probably well caught up on the missing items by now. Makes no fucking sense outside a large bureaucracy. But they also haven't denied me. They've just left it all in limbo.

Yea, this was 20 years ago. He was a major influence on my awareness of Palestine. Dude had been very familiar with the groupthink and indoctrination having joined the army to escape it in New York, only to then of course also very much see it from another angle in the army as he got surprised when suddenly 9/11 happened and being in the army wasn't just taking a break and living on base. They tried to force him back for a third tour though and by that point he'd gotten his resolve not to.
They actually let it go a lot easier than he expected after only a few months of being impossible to find. Sounds like they realized how much of a liability someone like that would be to force back into the shit...
I'm not aware of stories circulating about shenanigans in 2024, though I'm sure there are a few. I'm particularly interested in 2020 though, as it just felt wrong, there was censorship on x for suggesting it was the case in real time, had record turnout, and the whole Jan 6 hoopla which I think got blown out of proportion.
I want both sides to fight and sling mud in this arena, I think it'd be good fun and maybe even expose some stuff

I am looking to acquire cheap little LoRa mesh radios compatible with ATAK so we can get a bulk amount of them to host an airsoft event for local youths (and youths at heart) and inspire love of these radio systems.
I'm thinking it might be best to just get the chips and have the maker space in town 3D print cases, but I am open to any and all suggestions or ideas! Please help me make this happen 🥰

Statistical analysis I've seen makes it seem like both 2020 and 2024 presidential were stolen elections. The lack of interest in the 2024 anomalies looks sus AF as the kids would say. Unless of course the goal is Republicans win and not honest elections that reflect the will of the people, then it makes perfect sense.
3rd party polling confirms my theory that republican support in the population is literally dying and yet somehow the party isn't losing seats or power. How big can that spread get before the general public catches on? Fair elections aren't in their interest so I have sincere doubts that is what they want.
I suspect Grok picked up on me talking about Bitchat more than a few times... I don't think I talked about ham radio at all though. Oh, I guess I had been talking about Briar though on the Gaza side of things even earlier though in some of my networking there.
It's funny, the veteran rabbi I lived with did radio comms in the army. Pre drones. A lot of military comms end up being very much 'get to the top of that hill and set up a repeater' – they mostly rely on vhf. It somewhat surprised me due to how short range it is, til I remembered that HF is long range but you get a lot less choice about which specific ranges you can access.
Anyway, yea Grok seemed to have me figured out. Curious about the use of drones to do it as I hadn't ever heard of such a thing (clearly his goal was sci fi anyway). There are some practicality issues but with appropriate hailing procedures it may just be crazy enough to be viable.

Thanks, I'm not sure if I got your point.
Paid relays in practice significantly decrease spam, but that's unrelated to those who desperately send takedown letters to relay operators (like in the case I referred to under the picture).
They send these letters anyway for a formal reason (probably because lawyers tell them to do that); it's not a question of whether these letters will be read or not at all.
They either send them through a relay feedback form or possibly email/DM the relay operator directly. Or, if there are no more options left, they would likely send it to the hosting provider or/and domain registrar, no matter whether it's a paid relay or not.
Taking into account what's currently happening to domain registrars and some hosting providers (they fail to properly analyze the "takedown letters" and randomly ban their clients, basically), it'd be better if these letters reached relay operators directly. BUT not without being informed that their letter will be published.
That's not just ethics; I believe it's reasonable and beneficial to both sides of such conflicts.

I had a feeling you and other knee-jerk Trump haters would draw such conclusions. And I don't blame you, nor doubt that there's SOME opportunism. But, I do think it's overdo we get something exposed and investigated on this, as I'm fairly sure there was serious chicanery in 2020. Hopefully a lil disinfectant gets splashed around from both parties. Have only seen a couple docs so far on Twitter, so will have to see what they're giving us before I get too excited
