Aye aye captain
The NIP as it is is pretty good tbh. It would be better represented as software.

Let's do it. I'm in that limbo stage where I'm like, well maybe it could work but maybe it's also complete BS. Somehow the retarded idea of on-chain zaps was some kind of bizarre puzzle piece that made it all work.
Like what if the leadership quorum gets coup'd and burns all the keys and kills all their enemies and a thousand years later an archeologist finds a USB drive held by some excommunicated member and reconstructs the order's history from on-chain data.
How durable can you make this scheme? Bitcoin inheritance is essentially the same problem but strictly for money. The general case is any decision-making quorum.
It’s not a game, it’s a way of life.
Percebi isso também e também o fato de alguns relês não aceitarem uma nota que enviei hoje.

The eCash Rebellion Forces Bitcoin to Confront Its Oldest Schism
A veteran Bitcoin developer has declared war on the network ossification he helped create. His weapon is a hard fork that weaponizes Satoshi Nakamoto own coins. The community calls it theft. He calls it the only path forward. What happens next will define Bitcoin for a decade.

I'm just really into Softwar. I've gotten better at using LLMs and software development in large part because of that obsession.

I have lost confidence in all but 1-2 SE vendors, after seeing a lot of stuff.
I may be biased, but even recent “open source” secure elements are bad (and not really open source)
I don't think this is accurate. You can still follow a chain of thought and evaluate it on purely logical grounds. And if you can't see the images in your mind, just write/draw them.
I actually know some people like that. They're not stupid, they just can't see images.
Another thing people often conflate is an untrained/noisy mind as being evidence of intelligence.
Maybe, maybe not. It can be, it can also not be.
And in either case it means your mind has not been trained by meditation.
A noisy overactive mind is not a blessing. It's *the* obstacle on the way to the inner stillness that you already possess.
But with the thoughts in the middle of it, you can't sense it.
That's not a virtue, that's torture. Even if you don't realize it.
Thinking is a tool. Think when you need to, but don't let the thinking run the show.
Presence and stillness is where it's at.

I guess. The good thing though is that after so long, most of the crypto for privacy is stable, so it could be implemented directly.
also, I would be upset if someone made a client that allowed anyone to send any fund via any methods:
The recipient thinks that they are sending it to me, because the client is lying to them that I support this method, while I might not even know it exists.
reminds me of those annoying twitter tipbots
Oh thanks, I've just learned from you that the problem I describe in my final point has already been solved in the existing SP protocol.
HSAs are a great legal tax dodge if you are eligible. I'm not saying to put your whole stack there but it can have its place in long term planning depending on what else you have going on I think.
Thank you for not making this an on-chain zap.
Nostr users: please give us better features so that I can convince my normie friends to join. We don’t even have a gif button that works.

yes. many signers have the problem that the SE is utter trash though including trezor
I’d say it lies in both. If people are so concerned, take the split Zcash approach.
I have other concerns with “onchain zaps”, which is that it’s a stupid spec on so many levels:
- can’t specify a multisig / non-npub based address
- implies people that don’t have onchain zaps in their client / don’t prefer them can “receive” them
Better terms and probably (guessing here) more closely audited (not that I put much faith in that over self custody).
I recommended FBTC to someone hellbent on buying an etf for reason you mentioned, plus how fidelity has been mining etc for a while is cool

alby error on your end.
im using wos
IBIT is just Coinbase paper.
FBTC is self custody, though also lacking proof of reserves last I checked.

It's precisely this kind of ambiguity and active malice in organizations that the Softwar thesis aims to resolve. But finding out exactly how that is accomplished has been a very difficult journey. You can write things in stone so long as those involved recognize and accept what's written on it, and no one can alter or remove it.
I'm starting to get a grip on what it looks like, and this document is only the tip of the iceberg. Literally just an incidental offshoot.
I very much want to develop the means to actually implement this kind of hierarchy anchoring protocol for real world organizations.
