Not really, other than that you can probably trim some of your outboxes. 3-5 + hist.nostr.land would be good. The more relays you publish to, the more things will slow down for you... but you still want to function as if any one of those relays could disappear at any time.

Yeah I have more to go. I've honestly needed to clean up my relay list for a while but have neglected to do so. I need to find a couple more really solid ones. I've noticed some people I've stopped seeing for a while now while selectively dumping relays

I'm sort of guessing, but the bots are likely being created as nothing but keypairs, with the notes being published to a target relay. You can't see anything about them because the events that advertise that kind of profile information were never created.

I've enjoyed amethyst since starting nostr on it and use it often. @nprofile…h33y started cleaning up the relays and haven't seen more of them. Thank you for the recs. I tried to go to a couple of them and try to find common relays but none were visible to me Any ideas why that would happen?

Primal isn't a haven, it's a honeypot. They bait you with "decentralization" while controlling the gate keys. Real liberty dies when "open" networks depend on friendly landlords.

Outbox model somewhat requires that you connect to other users' inbox relays to fetch replies to their notes, though. Unless, of course, you are making use of an aggregator relay that is pulling those replies for you.
When looking at replies to your own posts, your own inbox relays should be sufficient, but when looking for replies to someone else's note, there is no reason to expect that they will be available on your inbox relays, so outbox clients should be connecting to the OP's inbox relays to fetch those replies, unless you have added them to your blocked relays list.

Years ago I dug into the alleged connection between the Bavinck-Kuyper 'way' and its supposed manifestation in South Africa (Boers, etc.). I wonder if there are parallels there--lessons we can learn from (?). I have to admit, my knee-jerk reaction to most of these questions is 1) the State should not enforce any kind of racial qualifications (ours is meant to be a lowest-common-denominator ideological association); 2) private property and freedom of association seems to cover most of these questions well enough for me.
But I haven't read it yet. Perhaps I'll have time tomorrow afternoon to give it a read. Do you think I should read the Dunson article to which he's responding first, for context?

Yeah, we weren't on the same page. I didnt mean earn in the sense that I owe them something, as if it's transactional. I just mean that they have to meet a minimum requirement on my end to even qualify for my consideration. So they earn an opportunity.
I'm actually not one to tell others they should forgive or extend grace. Personally, I tend to forgive people just so I can move on for my own sake, but I don't impose that onto others. Likewise, I don't impose my requirements for grace. People can give it while being punched in the face if they want.
My only point is that I think there are times when they are incompatible for me (OP). Like when the object of grace is preventing accountability and justice from occurring.
You sgould absolutely read my statement that "repentance is necessary for grace" to mean that the person must stop their transgressions before grace and forgiveness may be extended. Or as you put it in your second reply, they have to stop punching you, or else they should continue to be regarded as an enemy.
The point is that repenting still doesn't earn them grace. What they earned by punching you is to be punched back. Repenting by no longer punching you and agreeing that it was wrong to do in the first place doesn't mean they still don't deserve to be punched rather than forgiven. They earned a punch in the face, even if they are no longer punching you in the face.
No it doesn't. It's a basic requirement that one be willing to stop their transgressions before I give them any of my energy. If you want to live the reverse, be my guest.
Repentance isn't a gift either, it's an action. If you want to make it religious, God isn't repenting for you. You have to do that. There is no default grace that you just get while continuing to do a bad thing even after you know it's bad. You can maybe come up with a better word than "earn" but I don't think my definition is much of a price to pay. I'm not going to forgive a man and offer him grace while he's punching my face. He has to stop punching my face because he knows it's wrong. Otherwise, he's still an enemy and deserves treatment as such.

No. That was the video presenter's opinion at the time, but the latest ColdCard vulnerability has proven him wrong.
The issue we know now is that the onboard RNG was also not sufficient. People just believed it was at the time, including this video presenter, and advised users against complicating their setup by adding their own dice rolls or adding a passphrase they might lose.
