Pourquoi les cartes crypto sans KYC existent-elles encore en 2026… et pour combien de temps ?
J’ai récemment partagé une sélection des dernières cartes crypto sans KYC encore fonctionnelles.
Beaucoup m’ont posé la même question : « Est-ce que c’est légal ? Pourquoi ces solutions existent-elles si elles permettent potentiellement d’échapper à l’impôt ? Les États et l’Union européenne ne peuvent rien faire ? »
Voici les éléments de réponse.
Ces cartes ne sont pas des cartes bancaires traditionnelles. Il s’agit le plus souvent de cartes prépayées virtuelles, émises par des sociétés basées offshore, notamment à Hong Kong, aux îles Marshall ou dans certains pays d’Asie et d’Amérique latine.
Elles fonctionnent grâce à des partenariats avec des réseaux comme Visa ou Mastercard, via des émetteurs qui appliquent un KYC minimal, voire inexistant, pour de faibles montants.
Pourquoi cela reste-t-il possible aujourd’hui ?
D’une part, la réglementation européenne, notamment MiCA, cible en priorité les acteurs majeurs et les services officiellement établis.
D’autre part, ces cartes prépayées virtuelles se situent souvent dans des zones grises juridiques, en particulier lorsqu’elles sont émises en dehors de l’Union européenne.
Il existe aussi une forte demande pour des solutions respectant davantage la vie privée, ce qui en fait un marché très rentable, avec des frais pouvant atteindre 2 à 6% lors des recharges.
Enfin, les autorités concentrent leurs efforts sur les flux importants et les plateformes d’échange. Les petites transactions via ces cartes sont plus difficiles à surveiller en temps réel.
Est-ce que ce modèle va perdurer ?
Probablement pas sur le long terme.
Avec l’entrée en application complète de MiCA et les prochaines directives AML, la pression réglementaire s’intensifie. On observe déjà une réduction des plafonds, un durcissement des conditions, et la disparition progressive de certaines solutions. D’ici 12 à 24 mois, beaucoup pourraient imposer un KYC allégé ou disparaître.
Quelle est la réalité derrière ces cartes ?
Elles peuvent effectivement être utilisées pour contourner certaines obligations fiscales.
Mais elles répondent aussi à un besoin légitime de confidentialité dans un environnement de plus en plus surveillé.
Cela reste néanmoins une zone à risque : blocage de fonds, fermeture soudaine de compte, déclenchement de contrôles AML, et absence de recours comparable à celui d’une banque traditionnelle.
Mieux vaut les utiliser avec prudence et commencer avec de petits montants.
