Nah, he won't appreciate me for years still if I'm lucky, if he's anything like I was. But, that's how it goes when you play the long game.
We'll see about rest. More likely just a meandering sort of day; it's one of my days off so aside from groceries, cooking dinner, and maybe mowing the lawn (keeping an eye on the rain) I can afford to be slow about it. My caffeine habit makes mid-day naps a bit tricky as a way to catch up on any missed sleep, but I'll aim to hit the hay early.
Also looking forward to a Monday off; got work Sunday but planning a sushi-fest at my sister's. The amount of sushi we make at these things is painfully delicious.
