You're right about the surveillance per buck value, but I'd say there's a minimum of living conditions required. You don't really want to go to the hospital in southeast asia or africa. Not to mention the roads in some places...

Guess all the self-work is paying off, for now
1) The protocol is neat.
2) People seem pretty chill. Things can get heated occasionally, but it's usually the Bitcoin stuff I don't have as much of a stake in, so it's pretty easy to get along with people.
3) People seem to share a lot of my interests. The other week @nprofile…4463 and I were chatting in Shavian. I've never met somebody outside of Nostr - on the Internet or IRL - that even knew what it was (an alternative phonetic alphabet). It seems to attract people of similar wavelengths.
My take is something like this shitty demo, where the replies just move over as you scroll down the thread. And where you can collapse sub threads. Would be ideal imo.

Porque abaixo-assinado mostra opinião, não custo, e quem decide só muda quando manter a rota atual dói mais que mudar. Assinar não dói em ninguém: 10 segundos, não tira dinheiro, voto nem operação de quem está do outro lado. A causa ser nobre não importa pra mecânica; o poder não responde a mérito moral, responde a alavanca. E abaixo-assinado não é alavanca: não desliga faturamento (boicote é), não troca cadeira (voto organizado é), não trava operação (greve, processo, regulador é). Pior: ele substitui a ação em vez de puxá-la; a pessoa assina, sente que fez sua parte e vai embora, aliviada. Só funciona quando deixa de ser o fim e vira o começo: prova de uma base organizada pronta pra boicotar, votar ou processar. Sozinho, é carta educada que o poder tem todo direito de ignorar, e ignora.
