Oh yeah, did you see that Nvidia is offering free access to some pretty large open source models? Just learned of this today, apparently latest Kimi has a trilli parameters on it, and comes close to cutting edge, but haven't tried it myself (it's free provided you allow them to train on your interactions, but that's standard).

Another I like is Frank Black. Lots of his recordings are live to multi track, rather than recorded separately. You can hear it in the music, there's a spontaneity there that gets lost.

So you planted these when you were around 11 years old?
I considered that opus 4.7 MIGHT be overkill, but since I don't know that from experience, and I have a fresh max plan, I figured I could burn the tokens. At 20% of my _weekly_ budget, which refreshes Wednesday... so I think it's all good. I'll slow down on textbook ingestions with Opus soon, but had to see what it did first as a baseline.

I can't remember if you were in the other reply(ies) where I mentioned it, but I now have the 5x/$100 plan, and it's still cutting it close for now (yes, on my highly wasteful full-textbook ingestion), so I feel it was money well spent :)
