The war has been going so badly for the US that the big OSINT accounts are mostly discussing Ukraine now, even though there's a bunch of reports about Iran hitting shit and tankers are U-turning away from Bab Al-Mandeb.

Microsoft and Amazon could always acquire the labs when they start to go under. There's a ton of demand for compute, they just need to control for cost, and that's exactly what the hardware is doing. Arguably, it's just a matter of time until profitability. Maybe Amazon and Microsoft want the labs to go down so they can acquire them. It is serendipitous that neither of those companies have their own frontier model, but large stakes in the best labs on Earth. I wonder if they thought about that ahead of time hmmm.
