I guess I can try from linux but all the email signup is so unneccessary when it is nostr keys and nostr relays. They really missed an opportunity to show how you don't need these things when using nostr. It is marketed as local and not dependent in third parties then hit you with openai email login with google lmfao

oh. i didn't see any of that. after installation and login with nsec i was prompted to choose the harnesses i had installed or they were auto detected, such as good, claude, codex, etc. perhaps it's something mac related then? i have only tried on linux as that's the only system i have.

When I tried on a mac ( my business laptop ) step 1 was create an nsec, step 2 was login with email to anthropic or openai ... that is an immediate dead end
How do you go around that?

you can use goose, which is opensource and lets you use mostly whatever model you want.
you don't need to use an email. you can login with nsec.
you don't need to use their infra to setup a relay. if you do, you need an email. if you want to setup your own buzz relay, you can do so and then point your app at your relay that you deployed.
