Spreading the US Strategic Bitcoin Reserve keys across dozens of retired bank vaults in the Great Plains seems aligned with national security interests. Same playbook as ammo manufacturing in WW2 or the nuclear triad ever since.
Unless fiat inertia keep us locked on the current third world enshitification path, which seems more likely.
GM, may nostr be with you
I'd also point out I don't take some stand to flip a switch. We build to make the future better incrementally, because not doing so would be to allow entropy to make it worse.
Success looks like another day on the right side of the daisies, hopefully more sats than the day before, more people introduced or educated of helped on their feet. Not because they're owed it, but because charity extended today yields opportunity tomorrow.
I think that's a huge thing lefties miss about capitalism. A sane capitalist treats humans as another resource to cultivate sustainably to maximize output over time. You can slaughter a cow to eat it, or you can feed and shelter it to get years of dairy, offspring, etc. Likewise sacrificing a little today for our communities, of our own volitition, is not irrational, or socialistic, but an investment into the future.
Not all the seeds we plant grow. But farmers who plant no seeds reap no rewards.
Anyway, just some ramblings over my morning mud water. GM.
British imperialists were only in Palestine to repel the Ottomans and were the very first victims of Israeli settler terrorism in Palestine. A lot of people either aren't aware of - or convenieny forget - this part of history.
Many British troops and administrators were killed - most notibly in the bombing of the King David hotel. The organisation and funding for many of these activities was likely from Americans Jews.
There truely is nothing new new under the sun.

GM morning! Let's kick off this day right.
Arrests go nowhere. When it comes right down it, the Democrats and Republicans are pretty much all buddies.
Get out of the system with @npub1q7x…90jl, you won’t regret it.

Also I wouldn't say nothing's changed. There were a small handful of us on that day. Opposition to the occupation was something that was a tiny minority and if you asked most people it equated with antisemitism.
The public opinion has changed a lot. But the wheels of government grind slowly. We move forward one dead Lindsey Graham at a time.
I don't anticipate they'll operate as they do in 30 years. Not saying they'll be gone, but the balance will shift.
Also, not for nothing, I've been vocal for 20 years; Palestinians have been fighting this for over a century. A lot more meaningfully and at a lot bigger sacrifice to themselves and their families.
As far as I'm concerned it's an outgrowth of British imperialism anyway. American Zionism is tantamount to loyalism to the crown.
Theft is theft, whether it's of taxes, homeland, currency inflation, etc. If the fact that it still happens is reason to give up then I suspect it's time to throw in the towel on this whole civilization thing.
I honestly don't get out to protests at this point. Even then direct action was more my thing – protests are more a networking opportunity than anything effective.
Bitcoin, boycotts, and building stronger and more sovereign networks of individuals.
Especially these days the protests just don't seem the way to go. Awareness isn't where the deficit is, and standing in a sea of pinkos doesn't solve much. During the Iraq war years OTOH we'd run into people who didn't realize a war was happening. Information flows a bit faster now.
I think I might be joining you. What use I have for Bitcoin if it’s just another suitcoiner’s tool. We die on this hill! 🫡

Love the homages to Starship Troopers! But these articles are very Nostr unfriendly especially for folks like me who deleted xitter and never looked back. So I’d appreciate another link. 🙏Thank you for being a based miner. So few of your kind these days.
Até hoje esse cara ainda espera a taxa de juros fechar?
I'm not that far from 40 that I should probably start planning a party. @nprofile…9fz2 do you think I will be able to do it at @nprofile…jvhr in the second half of August? I would like to turn it into a birthday party and a Nostr meet-up.
So? Minority soft forks lead to chain splits.
GM Roughnecks! Our 1st article was a hit. Thank you to everyone who read & shared. Our next article will talk about arbitrary data and why it's just as harmful to miners as it is to nodes, hodlers, and merchants. Rational self-interested miners will reject arbitrary data https://x.com/roughnecks110/status/2077762515199779223

Maybe someone still remembers fragging from 'nam...
Yea, this was 20 years ago. He was a major influence on my awareness of Palestine. Dude had been very familiar with the groupthink and indoctrination having joined the army to escape it in New York, only to then of course also very much see it from another angle in the army as he got surprised when suddenly 9/11 happened and being in the army wasn't just taking a break and living on base. They tried to force him back for a third tour though and by that point he'd gotten his resolve not to.
They actually let it go a lot easier than he expected after only a few months of being impossible to find. Sounds like they realized how much of a liability someone like that would be to force back into the shit...
Big Bitcoin doesn’t care about the damage arbitrary data is doing to the protocol. Short term fiat maxis through and through.

Hey YODL,
I think you'd appreciate my GM from earlier today 😂
#nevent1q…f4cs
Thanks, I'm not sure if I got your point.
Paid relays in practice significantly decrease spam, but that's unrelated to those who desperately send takedown letters to relay operators (like in the case I referred to under the picture).
They send these letters anyway for a formal reason (probably because lawyers tell them to do that); it's not a question of whether these letters will be read or not at all.
They either send them through a relay feedback form or possibly email/DM the relay operator directly. Or, if there are no more options left, they would likely send it to the hosting provider or/and domain registrar, no matter whether it's a paid relay or not.
Taking into account what's currently happening to domain registrars and some hosting providers (they fail to properly analyze the "takedown letters" and randomly ban their clients, basically), it'd be better if these letters reached relay operators directly. BUT not without being informed that their letter will be published.
That's not just ethics; I believe it's reasonable and beneficial to both sides of such conflicts.

Hey @npub12vk…pugg

A famous Walt Disney quote when an imagineer rushed into his office proclaiming
"I have a great idea"
Walt replied:
"You have an idea, we'll let you know how good it is"
I have an idea that both the wife and Chatty think is great 😂
So I've upgraded my Codex subscription to "Pro"

GM good morning 🧡! Let's make today awesome.
Have you read it? Any good?
Theres a good book on this, Wall Street and the Bolshevik Revolution by Antony C Sutton
No Zap possible? Well, then I will keep my precious SATs 😎
How will data centers impact nature over time ?
Freedom.tech is officially back!
@npub1tr4…2y5g built it a few years ago as a home for freedom tech writing. When he moved on from the @npub1s0v…pq6j team it sat dormant and never really got the love it deserved. It's running again now, as something different.
If you run any freedom tech yourself, a node, a wallet, a relay, a self-hosted box, you need to know when it changes. Especially when it's a security patch. Most of that lands in changelogs nobody reads, and you find out weeks late or not at all.
Freedom.tech is no longer a blog. It's an daily intelligence desk for all things Freedom Tech.
Every morning it reads through around 500 release feeds, changelogs and security advisories, and writes up what actually shipped across Bitcoin, Nostr, privacy tools, self-hosting and AI. The site produces multiple different outputs:
1. A daily brief posted each morning (UTC) summarizing the releases for the past 24 hour window (auto posted to X and here on Nostr)
2. A weekly recap on Sunday evening (also auto-posted to X and Nostr)
3. A release page for every single release, building a running history for every project on the source list
You can also subscribe to have the weekly recap sent to you every Sunday, or subscribe to the RSS feed.
The summaries are written by an LLM. Nobody is hand-reading 500 feeds a day. Every item links straight to the upstream notes, so you can check the source yourself. When a project ships notes with nothing in them, it says so instead of inventing something.
You can also star the projects you care about into your own list so you don't need to scroll through project releases you have no interest in. The list syncs across devices as a NIP-51 list signed with your own key, so it travels with you. Sync for non-Nostr users is planned.
Freedom.Tech is where lots the research for the @npub1jcy…2890 #FreedomTechFriday show comes from. You'll find the latest episode is always up on the home page.
Missing a project? There's a suggest-a-source button on https://freedom.tech/sources.
Behind the scenes, Freedom.Tech is built and maintained by @npub15c8…ssvx of @npub1s0v…pq6j
So, #AskNostr, what do you want to see next from freedom.tech? More categories, deeper coverage, something else entirely? Let us know and please share the page and this post with your friends and followers.

I’d certainly have to verify this but according to this guy the Bolshevik revolution was organised, paid and carried out by Wall Street. Even the entire soviet industry was rebuilt entirely be western capital.

You're feeling good today
GM Good morning! Wishing you a day full of blessings and #Bitcoin wins.
