I tell my superiors how it is. They hate it. But they can't fire me because I'm too productive and efficient.
There is also a huge lack of willing to learn/capable new employees showing up over the last 10 years.
AI hasn't seemed to replace demand/skill in the slightest. Covid was the same shit. "Work from home".

welcome to the club. been using youtube adblock for about a decade now, and brave and librewolf both do it too. it's easy to run your own invidious instance as well and then use that on mobile to skip the youtube sub. only costs like $3 a month for a VPS that can handle one person's youtube video watching through invidious.
