And yes, "amy" is now a CLI command as well. Agents also need to use Amethyst.

@nprofile…eqct I'd love to have you join my Nostr panel and talk about the new Nostr tools that Block has developed. They fit perfectly into the direction of the panel. 🤙🏻🫂💜 https://blossom.primal.net/46d4cdf0ca4d3c2d0ecaa8e81bf6daa030861e3cbbc2f0864a5736dd2fcd753e.png

How to turtle...step one find shell, step two TURTLE!!! 🤣🤣
This is a black tee-shirt painted on with bleach by my daughter 👀
I'm going to try to get her to offer custom orders on nostr - this is her 2nd design using this method and they hold up well after many washes, no running or fading 🔥

CONVERGENCE: THE ANOMALY PROTOCOL
They didn’t notice it at first.
That’s how it always begins.
Not with explosions.
Not with headlines.
Not with panic.
With leakage.
https://image.nostr.build/08c12d6ac3348d2f57659efc58767d2d8fc94376fc8b92e6cd87ebaac6890b35.jpg
---
The system was perfect.
A closed loop of men in rooms—
glass towers, quiet dinners, handshakes that never made records.
They called it stability.
They called it policy.
They called it necessary.
But what they had really built…
was a machine that only worked if no one asked too many questions.
---
Then the anomaly appeared.
No leader.
No office.
No headquarters to raid.
Just code.
Cold. Final. Indifferent.
---
They gave it names at first.
A phase.
A fad.
A risk asset.
They laughed.
The way empires laugh at ghosts.
---
But the numbers didn’t laugh.
The numbers moved.
Quietly.
Relentlessly.
Across borders that used to mean something.
Through systems that used to extract.
Around controls that used to work.
---
In a boardroom buried beneath a city that never slept, they finally said it out loud.
> “It’s not stopping.”
Silence.
Twelve men.
Different institutions.
Different flags.
Same problem.
---
One of them poured a drink he didn’t need.
Another checked a screen he didn’t understand.
The oldest one in the room—the one who had seen crises come and go—just stared.
> “Then we contain it.”
---
And just like that—
They converged.
---
Regulators aligned.
Banks coordinated.
Narratives synchronized.
Levers were pulled.
On-ramps tightened.
Off-ramps monitored.
Voices discredited.
The system didn’t panic.
It converged. Aligned. Deployed.
---
But the anomaly didn’t react.
It didn’t argue.
Didn’t protest.
Didn’t negotiate.
---
It just kept moving.
Block by block.
Transaction by transaction.
A parallel ledger writing a story the system couldn’t edit.
---
They tried to model it.
Failed.
Tried to predict it.
Failed.
Tried to kill it.
Failed.
---
Because it wasn’t inside the system.
It was outside it.
---
A young analyst—too early in his career to be afraid—finally said what no one else would.
> “It doesn’t need to beat us.”
The room turned.
> “It just needs to outlive us.”
---
That was the moment the temperature changed.
Not fear.
Something worse.
Recognition.
---
Because they understood time.
And this thing—
This anomaly—
Was built on something they had spent decades eroding.
---
Finality.
---
Out there, beyond the glass and the suits and the coordinated response—
People were opting out.
Not loudly.
Not politically.
Quietly.
Individually.
Irreversibly.
---
A payment here.
A savings decision there.
A channel opened.
A balance moved.
Each action too small to matter.
Together—
Irreversible.
---
Back in the room, the oldest man finally spoke again.
Not to the room.
To himself.
> “We’re not bleeding.”
Pause.
> “We’re being replaced.”
---
No one responded.
Because they all knew.
---
The system had faced enemies before.
Revolutions.
Wars.
Crashes.
It survived them all.
Because those enemies fought the system.
---
This one didn’t.
---
It didn’t attack.
Didn’t demand.
Didn’t destroy.
---
It rendered.
---
Obsolete.
---
And somewhere—
in a room with no doors, no leaders, no permission—
the anomaly kept ticking.
Unstoppable not because it was powerful—
But because it was irrelevant to power.
---
No hero.
No villain.
No final battle.
---
Just a system slowly realising—
> The game is still being played.
> It’s just not being played with them anymore.
---
THE PATIENT IS AWAKE.

An interesting thing I learnt about Liquid a while ago: it's well understood now that "normally" you just swap in and out; way less hassle for a small fee. Obviously it's the "out" part that's super-important: you don't want to be left unable to retrieve "real" bitcoin, right. But did you know that if you choose to exercise your exit right, instead of use a swap service, you actually can't?
They only allow exit to whitelisted addresses!
Presumably this is the direct effect of having public entities be the quorum, held to various regulatory and similar standards/threats, (I mean it also makes stealing by non-govt entities harder, but the govt entities are the big threat here, I'd say).
(Search "whitelisted" here: https://help.blockstream.com/hc/en-us/articles/900001408623-How-does-Liquid-Bitcoin-LBTC-work )

Hey @nprofile…l72u,
I assume you're knowledgeable about this: I'd like to learn more about the effects of 5G. Do you have any good sources for me?

True AF. But they can tolerate a white boi if he shows a white paw.

It doesn’t.

If a fork tries to freeze coins, another fork won’t.
Both chains live. Both price.
The market decides.
Bitcoin doesn’t resolve conflict — it contains it.
Old narratives about “who controls Bitcoin” sound like
pre-ship sailors warning about monsters in the sea.
Bitcoin doesn’t need to “win a debate.”
It fractures, and the market adjudicates.

i just realised that he reminds me of the kid from the meme of the kid tapping away at the 80s computer and then looking at the camera thumbs up
I had to chuckle. Deacons, for many generations, were the actual power brokers of the Church. St. Gregory the Great is a good example.
That said, Matrimony is one of the things I agree with them doing, since they're not exercising any power at all. The priest doesn't marry a couple: the couple marries each other, and are the proper ministers of the Sacrament.
Oh I'm eating ramen from Walmart 😂

Saw this at the store today. Whiskey barrel aged maple syrup and other such fancy variety. Nice Bitcoin product imo. Just saying.
