I tried to draft a post earlier and it failed so I moved on but when I moved to this new post the draft showed backup and I didn't can't it.
I guess what I want is a way to clear any drafts that I have so if a post fails I dont have to delete it when I make my next post.

Theres a pretty big decentralized music scene here. Lots of livestream concerts are constantly happening. Music podcasts and radio shows. Its integrated in a lot of non-music apps too. For example, @nprofile…vyxv has a jukebox in his virtual farmers market that's connected to the music ecosystem here.

Yeah the blosson server was set up by @nprofile…r500 on his machine. It's on my things to do eventually but I'm still struggling with a few other tech issues with the server, nothing disasterous but defo needing attention and all stuff I don't really get yet. Slowly getting there and getting things a little more robust!

I self host an ActivityPub client called Castopod, a FOSS podcast hosting app (but you can select as a music release in the feed itself). Fountain and Podhome can also do but that's with them hosting. Very happy to help if you want to go the self hosted route but I think better folks to ask would be @nprofile…lsnt @nprofile…0azm @nprofile…xk8a and @nprofile…v2r3 They've figured more Nostr native ways than I, Nostria has a cool feature you can post music feeds as a specific Nostr event type, which is pretty damn cool and I think ShoSho can generate an RSS from your host?
I've stuck with ActivityPub to host audio as was already self hosting other stuff. I'd like to set up Blossom servers at some point but these things take me time to get my head round and I certainly need to get more storage organised!

Shoving stuff in feeds is how we build all of this PC 2.0 stuff in the first place. 
Fully concur with all that you are saying. Ive started adding npubs into the feeds now, and a New single or content notification from an artist would be brill. Currently my artists know when someone boosts them via there wallet it there is often a disconnect from fountain wallet to go an see the npub the message came from.
Articulating the problem is the first step I guess.

Yeah I've adding npub tagging to some of my stuff and it's really cool way to let artists know you listened to there stuff. Sadly I don't think most artists know they are even getting messages which is sad.
On the new releases thing in the PC 2.0 side of things it's a mess. @npub109p…5aaj just drops his singles in one feed so if you subscribe to that feed you get a notification of a new track like you would for a new podcast episode and it works well but then everything has to be in one feed and that's not great either.
Ideally I think publisher feeds would fix this but it's not very well supported either. Say you Matt put all of your stuff in a publisher feed and I subscribe to that and get notified when you release something new. That's atleast how I envision it working but we're not there yet on the PC 2.0 side of things.
Nostr music ties everything to one npub and that could work but what about things like NMNU or Hashpower that have several artists under them. I guess you could set it up so that they could tie it to the artists npub and not theirs but then what about signing stuff and they also don't own that stuff then since it's being signed by there labels keys.
For those of use that keep a close eye on this stuff we check the search tab on LNBeats to see what's coming in new but that's still a manual process but sometimes that's not a bad thing b/c you can't always trust automated systems.
Take my music app stablekraft.app for example. I check publisher feeds nightly for new additions and I could let users know that an artist they favorited in the app released something new but that more stuff to add to my app that I'm trying to keep lightweight since it's a PWA.
Primal doesn't do keysend but will pay LNUrl payments which is what most lightning addresses use for payments. Fountain, Primal Strike etc.
It sucks but these things just aren't compatible since we're using different ways of sending sats.

Looks like I'm stuck with Fountain for boosts until I run my own node.
You can use any NWC wallet you want with stablekraft.app. I've tested Primal and it works really well but most RSS feed have keysend addresses in them so you will get failures.
Your stuff has lnaddresses in it so Primal will work just fine.
Any chance of dropping the keysend requirement?

I haven't found a decent implementation of being notified when an artist they follow releases something new. This is a real shortcoming compared to legacy platforms. (That, and new music discovery).
When an artist receives a boost it's generally a one-way transaction because the only identifier is a lnurl.
Some apps can generate a nostr note automatically when you boost, which is great promotion, by it also links the booster npub. What's missing is notifying the artist.
Tagging the artist in the note would give them the opportunity to say thanks and interact directly.
You can include npub in the RSS feed (MSP2.0 has this option) but I don't think apps are using it yet.
I'm wondering if "Nostr music" might be the ultimate solution, where development seems more rapid and flexible than podcasting2.0?
