it's funny because he deleted all his tweets that promoted coldcard but not the ones that he exchanged with nvk. He tried to hide the evidence but completely halfassed it.
DO I LOOK LIKE A JERKOFF FINANCE PODCASTER? I DONT FUCKING KNOW AND I DONT CARE, ALL I KNOW IS THAT THESE PEOPLE SHOULD BE BEATEN
YOU ARE NVK’S PERSONAL FRIEND AND PROMOTER
YOU HAVE TONS OF TWEETS YUKKING IT UP WITH HIM
YOU AIRED HIM AND HIS FUCKING TRASH ON YOUR PODCAST DOZENS OF TIMES
YOUR OPINION IS WORTHLESS, FOREVER. SHUT THE FUCK UP PODCASTER SCUM. SHUT THE FUCK UP. THE PEOPLE DO NOT NEED YOU TO RUN YOUR FUCKING MOUTH. THEY NEED YOU TO APOLOGIZE, GIVE ALL YOUR MONEY TO THE VICTIMS, AND KILL YOURSELF IN SHAME

If they call themselves a Bitcoin educator, break their knee with a fucking bat. Seriously. Physically assault and cripple these people. All of them.
If these people go physically unpunished, Bitcoin is over. It’s a fucking shitcoin.
If you see a Bitcoin podcaster in public, spit on them. Seriously. Spit in their fucking face.
the most arrogant people in Bitcoin are podcasters, and the people shipping the products that fund them — NVK is the archetypal example of this. And nobody ever told you, NVK, or Odell to “stay humble” or “put your ego aside.” But maybe it is time for that. Maybe it is time for everyone that spent the past decade blabbing into a microphone to sell criminal scams to SHUT THE FUCK UP. SHUT UP PODCASTER SCUM. SHUT UP PODCASTER SCUM. SHUT UP PODCASTER SCUM. KEEP YOUR FUCKING FAGGOT OPINIONS TO YOURSELF. YOU PEOPLE HAVE BROUGHT BITCOIN TO THE FUCKING BRINK.
tfw when I look at the grammar of my latest drunkpost a single minute later. It’s the counterpart to l‘esprit de l'escalier, the mental clarity of the slightly more sober man
this is the kind of "stay humble” mantra that Odell and NVK uttered at their pay pigs while they were leading them to slaughter. Bitcoin was supposed to be *money* and a cornerstone of a financial, not a call to a speech-policing monastery. Money people actually want to use does not ask them to “put their ego aside.”
I didn’t support BIP110, I think Luke is a fucking kook, and I had no problem with OP_RETURN, and I support many use cases of cryptocurrency that I think they falsely label “non-monetary” like contracts, but the BIP110 crowd are still better and more earnest than this crowd of condescending cultist mantras utterers lead by corrupt podcasters and their stable of venture capital investments into scams.
the scam that was readily apparent at the time is that NVK and miljan were producing obvious subpar products, but Odell was giving them money and promotion because it brought him the most social benefit. This is contrary to the concept of fiduciary duty, where a board member has a moral and legal obligation to act in the best interests of the mission of the nonprofit, as well as a violation of his fiduciary duty as an agent of capital investment, where he has the moral and legal obligation to act on behalf of the interests of Ten31’s depositors. That this twofold criminal violation of his fiduciary duties, both at the nonprofit and the venture capital firm he works at, lead to the largest cold storage self-custody loss in the history of Bitcoin, is a tragedy. But the legal and moral violations happened the minute he engaged in it, before the mass customer losses.
Odell does not have a good heart. He, alongside NVK and miljan, worked for years to use OpenSats to enrich Ten31 investments, a conflict of interest, and to specifically sabotage the businesses through slander campaigns and grant revocation who were competitors to Odell’s Ten31 portfolio or blowed the whistle on this scam and fraud:
#nevent1q…w0dm
Damus developer jb55 talked about this months before the collapse, and in return they sabotaged his business and attacked him personally.
https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/navy-seal-copypasta
literally you
Spoiler alert: jb55 did lose his grants for blowing the whistle on the fraudsters Odell and NVK months before the collapse. If OpenSats and Ten31 had any integrity at all, they would publicly apologize to him, fire Odell, and give jb55, the person that acted with personal integrity at great personal expense Odell’s current position and compensation.
How has he been successful? He’s only shilled subversive products that hurt Bitcoin and run a shitty podcast. Maybe he’s made some money, but all that money is the fruit of a poisonous tree, made at the expense of honest Bitcoiners and at the cost of their life savings. It was publicly known for years that Odell was assisting incompetent and bad actors in a racketeering and scam ring, with OpenSats grantees who had direct access to it testifying *in public* to such facts. And in return, these people with integrity had Odell and NVK sabotage their businesses and revoke their grants.

Retarded post. If a scheming fat Brazilian kike steals your family’s savings, it is not time to talk about “personal responsibility”. It is time to punish him and the people that worked with him to defraud the public. This shameless sucking off of this corrupt venture capitalist is disgusting.
Nosdag ate a couple of my recent follows after I opened it, saw that it was still following someone I had unfollowed, and unfollowed them again on Nosdag

Ha, my effort at making a thread just discovered another bug. I believe no replies beyond 3/10 are visible in thread view.
Oh well, fixing now.
10/10
Replies from people you follow attach to your threads automatically. Replies from strangers wait in Requests until you decide, and what you endorse publishes as a curation signal others can use. That's the Nosdag view, a regular Nostr client still shows everything.
Also in there: long-form articles, encrypted DMs, bookmarks, search, paywalled notes, and an importer for your pre-Nosdag timeline.
It's an Electron app. Linux tested. macOS tested on Apple Silicon but unsigned, so it needs xattr -cr once. Windows completely untested, since I don't own one.
Or clone the repo and run from source on any OS.
9/10
There's an anonymous mode: a Tor daemon, a v3 onion service, an IPFS node that dials only over Tor, and onion relays in place of clearnet ones. If the Tor daemon dies, network access is cut. No silent fallback to clearnet.
Already run a tor router or a Whonix-style gateway? Point Nosdag at it instead. One trade-off it tells you up front: without control of that Tor instance it can't publish an onion service, so you can read the network but nobody fetches from your node directly and it also means no one can pin your content on their node.
8/10
Payments are Monero, because a tip on a public timeline is a public payment. Monero keeps the amount, the sender and the receiving address off a readable ledger.
The wallet is built into the app to tip a note, or the author directly. It's called the Tip Jar deliberately: it's for tips, not for storing your savings.
Tips are secret by default. You can choose to disclose one on-chain and earn a verified badge on it, but that's permanent and public. You can also point it at your own Monero node.
7/10
Nosdag shows a trustless count of how many nodes hold your content, taken from the DHT, and marks each note as backed up or only here.
What it won't do is name who hosts you. Publishing that would map the social hosting graph onto public relays, who pins whom, readable by anyone, forever. So it stays just a count.
6/10
Your node isn't online all the time, so two things keep content reachable.
Cloud Bridge. You can link an IPFS pinning service and your notes stay up while you sleep.
Hosted Follows. The real social part. Follow someone running Nosdag and you can host them from your own machine: their notes, or their notes and media, your call, inside size caps you set. It's a way to support an author with nothing but the spare space on your disk, and it keeps their content serving when they're offline.
Or run neither and accept you're reachable only while the app is open. The app tells you which of the three is actually true for you.
5/10
Media goes to your own node, referenced as ipfs://. No third-party image host, nothing to rot when a service folds or decides your file is a problem. Any size too, video streams straight off disk rather than being loaded whole.
Up to 10 files per note. Video and photos get metadata stripped first, and HEVC gets converted so it plays for everyone.
If your node can't serve a file, Nosdag races public IPFS gateways. If those fail too you get an honest "media resting" marker instead of a broken image.
4/10
Discovery is one small pointer on relays saying: newest note, right here. That's the entire mechanism.
A reader resolves the pointer, fetches that note from IPFS, then walks backwards, checking every signature and confirming each link matches what you actually signed before trusting a word of it. Nobody can quietly hand a reader a doctored chain.
3/10
Each note is stored as a signed Nostr event wrapped in a small object that points back at the one before it. Your notes form a chain.
The useful part is that those links are real, not just references. Pick up the last link and the whole chain comes up with it. Ask for the newest note and you get the entire history, no index to fetch, nothing to keep in sync.
Same trick is why your whole history exports as a single file you can back up and re-import anywhere.
2/10
The problem it's aimed at: we ask relays to be permanent storage for everyone's content, forever, for free.
That doesn't scale, and it quietly decides who gets to keep hosting. Storage costs someone money, and whoever's paying eventually starts having opinions about what's worth keeping.
Move the payload to the people who wrote it and a relay shrinks from a terabyte content store to a kilobyte pointer database.
1/10
A quick guide to Nosdag: what it is, what it's for, and how it works.
Nosdag is a desktop Nostr client with an IPFS node built into it. The name is from “Nostr + Merkle DAG.” Merkle DAG is the magic behind IPFS.
Your keys and relays still do identity and signaling. But your notes, media and history live on an IPFS node running on your own machine, not in a relay's database. Other Nosdag users pull your notes straight off your node while you're running the app. Everything still gets published to relays too, so people reading you in Damus or Amethyst see you exactly as before.
Bring the npub you already have as the profile, follows and relays come with you.
Clarification: it is available to pull from github, the download builds are still building.
Nosdag 0.1.6 is out.
-Fixed notifications bug: if someone quote-reposted your note or mentioned you without replying, Nosdag silently dropped it. Notifications are also stored locally now, so a relay being slow once no longer erases a notification permanently.
-Fixed Profile update bug where profile was frozen for the same class of reason. Nosdag read your kind 0 from cache and then never checked again, so a profile edited on another client never arrived. It revalidates now, and always re-reads your own at login. It was also taking whichever relay answered first rather than the newest, so a lagging relay could pin an old profile over a current one.
-A quote repost of your note can now be approved in Requests, which endorses it onto that note's thread.
-Search results now apply your mute list.
-There is now a banner on login to let you know a new version of Nosdag is available to download.
Thanks, and please let me know if you run across any other issues.
Fungibility of money is a human right.
It's not just Odell either, it’s literally every single person who sold you a ColdCard, they are all selling you Bitkey now. And people on Twitter are eating this up! They have zero memory or will to reject the people that the establishment has determined are allowed to use Twitter and decide what should be discussed about Bitcoin. To me a self-custodial platform based around biometrics is *insane*. Biometrics are irrevocable *and* trivially stolen. Get a burn? Lose a digit? Wallet stops working. But the cops can and will press your fingerprint to it, and scammers can just grab a latent print off of something and make a gelatin mold.

I am unwilling to use anything, at this point, where my identity is not exclusively a public key. I am unconcerned about surveillance risk at this point. I am willing for any of my conversations to be publicized. But I have been deplatformed from fucking everything on the planet. That’s the actual risk to me. Anything with a human readable username, or a phone number, that’s a pile of trash and I’m uninterested in it.
I was locked out of both my Signal accounts on the exact same day, what a coincidence
I use Nostrord, but getting people on it has been futile. I think Flotilla is just a completely stupid model.
Bitkey is also run by those who Odell has a direct financial relationship with. Once again, he’s not giving his viewers the sensible choice (which would be Trezor)— he’s giving them the one he gets the most benefit from promoting.
A dozen donuts from my local baker cost $7.80 in 2020. I went there two days ago and asked how much a dozen donuts were now. She said $17.50.
In six years, the rate of inflation has been 124.35%
Not quite the 2-6% the government keeps lying to us about.
The man just cannot stop shilling. It’s all he does. The loss of the life savings of his viewers, as a direct result of his criminal racketeering and violation of his fiduciary duties as an investment agent and board member, is just an opportunity to sell them a new crypto wallet. @npub1qny…95gx is the most subhuman and manipulative schemer in this whole saga, worse than NVK who actually clearly architected the retirement attack of all his customer’s funds. He’s literally worse than a fat Brazilian kike.

Bro, the Upgrade was a Decade Ago
Many developers can be reckless with API calls, because with stable connections and global CDN servers, the difference between proper design, and complete negligence, can be in milliseconds. So it's not even worth the effort for most corporate developers to even learn.
This is why despite the HTTP protocol being upgraded over a decade ago to HTTP2, the vast majority of Python tutorials still teach the requests library, which only has HTTP/1. And despite HTTP2's proven speed advantage for client re-use, most mobile apps using Flutter continue to erode that edge with the defaults of HTTP1.
Then because web bloat has become the accepted standard, everyone has to use a CDN, to pass all data to the same centralized mega-corporations, which break SSL through the fundamental nature of CDNs. So as an end-user, you have to accept snail speeds, or totalitarian privacy-invasion.
But what if it wasn't a stable connection? What if there was no Cloudflare? Most of our users are using Tor, plus a base-layer VPN, with crappy internet to begin with. But they still expect fast performance, so what can they do?
Even worse, the Tor developers kill adoption with their own policies. Their STEM library is garbage for receiving errors on bootstrap. It's a blackbox that gives no feedback, yet they’ve created pointless permission problems by restricting third party apps from creating Tor sessions on a given config, by default on most Linux distros. Yet when Tor browser itself is open, it can start the config, and then you can bind to it. So what is the purpose of restricting it, if when the primary use-case is open, that restriction is often gone.
Then Tor dev negligence is compounded by PySocks dev negligence, where even after decades of IPv6 being around, PySocks doesn't support it. And the STEM library docs don’t want to mention how to disable IPv6, their attitude is go read it on your own.
This combo is lethal, of black box swallowed errors, pointless permission problems, IPv6 errors, all combined with crappy library support. How can any privacy project succeed? Most don't, and that's why you see Cloudflare used even for Monero wallet APIs. Each party points the finger at the other, nobody takes responsibility for anything.
Now you have context to understand this 2-7-7 upgrade. I've been digging away for months to learn this, and today we are proud to roll out the upgrade:
Today's upgrade:
-Ditching HTTP1 for HTTP2
-Ditching Python requests for HTTPx
-HTTPx client re-use throughout the project. Way beyond simple for loops, but an entire infrastructure for persistent proxied connections.
-Ditched STEM for a Custom Tor Bootstrap with error detection for a variety of issues.
-It creates a custom HTTPx client to resolve DNS and verify SSL when Tor node DNS is blocked.
-Solved async over Tor. Now it grinds out concurrent requests
-Transitioned the database endpoints to reduce the quantity of API calls made
-Elaborate sync tracker to reduce API calls when nothing changed
With all these changes combined, we've smashed sync time from over 15 seconds, to under 5 seconds (depending on your connection.)
Although this may seem like a lot of technical complexity, I am on a simple mission. To make privacy so convenient, that you say "why not".

the state has agencies and thousands of people deploying AI against crypto, all organized, 3 shifts totaling 24 hours a day, coordianted, scheduled, planned. People sitting in rooms deciding what's next for years to come. Thinktanks using decision trees to plot their future gains of power years ahead of current trends. Meanwhile society is fragmented into islands of individual people all racing to stay updated with no organization, or plan for the future, just current remedies to stay afloat.
All these demons selling their soul for the almighty dollar.

How everyone should start thinking of @npub1qny…95gx
https://i.imgur.com/Z4DVohS.jpeg
they still have Odell on the board and he has had a large history of similar conflicts of interest and sabotaging competing projects
Lol. You clearly dont know with whom you are talking to.
We should be building more powerful, unsensored, without guardrails, open sourced LLMs and use it to bring down the state piece by piece.
#nevent1q…ak67
While we are all busy using AI to write dumb pointless apps for us and "save" time on larger more pointless projects, governments are using AI to create a war system and surveillance state with human lives micromanaged by black and white robot logic further enslaving us with no way out and they know it!
Yeah... real "utopia" when everybody will be broke ass niggas living on government welfare while a handful of people control all the wealth and force mandated "health" practices in order to receive your daddy government slave cash.
