📢 Announcing “Rocking Life” app
A very stupid little app that is helping me a ton to my very “all over the place” brain.
I don’t know if other will find it useful because I very much made it just for me and how my brain works, but my wife has been using it too a ton.
It’s like a simple todo list app, following the idea of that I just want to track stuff that I need to do.
I don’t want to track time of tasks, prioritizes, complex hierarchical organizations, if things start to pile up I want tasks to be semi-automatically be broken into smaller chunks that I can tackle.
I don’t know about you but I have tons of things that I know I need to do but procrastinate endlessly to do them and they carry this huge mental burden and become impossible to confront.
That’s the main thing I want this app to do.
No points, no streaks, no encouraging stupid words.
I just send a voice message with a dump of what I’m thinking I need to do and let the app take it from there. If the day changes, the app adapts proactively.

No, it’s not meant to be used by public relays; it’s meant to be used with your own relay to keep track for example of draft events such that you don’t accidentally overwrite from a client that hasn’t properly retrieved the latest stuff.

If it wasn’t obvious and repeated enough, almost nothing needs this and it’s not something to be adopted by “big” “public” relays, this is more for stuff like not accidentally overwriting your own drafts and nip60 wallets state because a client started working with bad state or something; all state you’d want to write to your private relays anyways

it can work for nip60 since the relay set is (supposed to) be well set; but for the overall nostr that gets you into fork hell
NIP-29 does this (kinda) with the `prev` tag because the relay you are publishing is well known, so you have a natural central repository of state -- it doesn't mandate rejecting events at all, but it gives you some type of contextual ordering of events in time.

I’ve already implemented it. I’m good with merging the PR.
There’s nowhere near enough wiki articles published to be too concerned about the amount of data, although a few people that started doing good work got, very understandably, discouraged with the change and I can’t fault them for that. @nprofile…g8gh immediately comes to mind since he was adding a lot of work there.
In the new version I’m working on I’m doing what I can to detect markup and render accordingly.
