As I continue to upgrade my website, I saw 5 or 4 year old videos of myself and I was biting my tongue as I watched myself on the screen 🫣😬
Guess what?
Do you know why I've found my old videos funny and awkward?
It's because I've learned from it.
I persevere even though I feel like sabotaging myself.
Even though I was worried what others would say but I never stop.
Even if no one may watch it I continued.
The bottom line, learning is a journey.

Do you know why horses wear what appears a peripheral blocker?
So it focuses on where it is going and only in front of it.
I find this interesting because we do the same every day. Not in a literal sense. But in our mind, in our perception.
We focus on what we know. We can reason about what we know. Knowing in the sense of lived experience, knowledge, culture, accolades, upbringing, content etc.
With these we construct meaning in everything. We construct stories about everything. With those meanings we construct how we feel—our emotions, and our body constructs sensations. Hence, the feeling of panic, sweating, heart rate raising etc. We give labels to those sensations as excitement or nervousness, distraught or disappointed.
My point? We all have our blind spots. It takes a lot of maturity not to blindly lash out at people, outright call them names.
It takes emotional intelligence to put yourself in their worldview and to get curious why they say what they say, why they behaved that way, and why they showed such intense emotion.
It takes a lot of wisdom to at least for once, stop thinking about "YOU" and start to give some little grace to people.
Even if you think they do not deserve it, how you respond and handle your interactions with others reflects on you.

indeed. before ai, some devs get some snippet of code from tech forums without knowing how it works. we used to call them "script kiddies". no problem getting them from the forums but expecting to slap it with the existing system in the hope it will not break the rest is reckless and sloppy at best. now with the ai, code logic is hard to come by because some devs become too reliant to their agents to critically think. I'd say only the digital architects (system architect, infra, data architect, solution architect, etc) are going to thrive in the ai space I think. But to be one, you need to get your hands dirty to understand where it breaks, where it falls apart, where are the weak points and strengths. so it is going to be an interesting ride in devs. 🤓

Nothing beats hands on coding. 👏 It also enhances your critical thinking and code logic which is very rare to find in these days 😬

Design and UI I am not very patient with it LOL so I do not mind AI giving me the wireframe then work from there LOL 🤣 But architectural speaking, no chance — I do it hands on. 🤓
I sometimes find myself arguing with my ai devs when I ran out of patience. Eap when doing simple stuff then overcomplicates it. I'd probably lose more hair debating with it 😅

What I have learned working with AI to help me with my web designing:
🎉 Design ideas are mind field and I love it. You asked for design inspo and wallah! It is like magic!
⚙️Troubleshooting code semantics are a hidden mist! Sometimes it solves it in a snap and sometimes it couldn't.
💪AI devs tend to overcomplicate (most often than not) things regardless of how explicit your instructions are. I noticed that human supervision of diagnosing problems and troubleshooting are much more productive than letting them go wild! Simple code problems gets overly complicated because they are trained to solve regardless whether it is simple or complicated solution.
🧠 They are great at brainstorming solutions you have in mind and weighing production time, cost and delivery.
🤯 Lastly, it tends to hallucinate a lot and can be psychophantic. If you are not paying attention, it could cost your time which is more expensive than any tokens.

I am not sure "legacy" #nostr exists. If you ask your #bch admin they know #nostr is a protocol and even them shared this to your community that #nostr is crypto/wallet agnostics. Hence, why you guys are able to use the protocol — #bchnostr community. If tomorrow someone decide to build a nostr app with monero as the currency that is possible too. if your bchnostr is lagging temporarily, you can always switch to other nostr apps. eg amethyst, yakihonne or jumble. you can use the same keys and it will not change your experience on nostr. it's what the protocol is there for. 👌☺️

I am fortunate enough to find my partner in a dating app. My experience was not too bad but not a generalisation for the rest. I'd say it is a tool to meet new faces what otherwise you would not meet in your usual places you hang out at. That said, I wouldn't dismiss that the algo can be invasive and to some degree bias - same as the one who crafted it. ☺️

I have been sharing about #bch 's trajectory. majority of the people are even repulsed of the idea they exist! you would thought that we all want freedom independent from banks and yet the likes of #bch seems to trigger some people. I am personally very curious of their #dev speed and marketing strategy. regardless if they agree with alt-coin or not, no one succeeds if you already set your mind to hate the movement or their work. innovation starts with curiosity. but I also understand thr "why" of the opposing side. self-preservation and convictions are the enemy of curiosity and change.

It is nuanced. What I have learned from clients and experience is this: if you are not ready to be in relationship then no amount of actively looking will work. "Ready" means you know your self-worth, the kind of relationship you want to be in, the kind of relationship you want to avoid and the person you want to be with. To know one self takes a lot of inner work. I am afraid in this day and age, where hustling and always busy are rewarded, when staying still and spending time with yourself is considered odd or uncomfortable. However, the extreme can be true. When you spent too much time alone, get comfortable of your company it can be addicted that you completely withdraw from society. Striking balance is the key. Be open to what comes to your way and that includes new connections. ☺️ The most rewarding relationship comes to those who are open to it but not fixated to the outcome. 🫂
