It has a 60 litre tank. I also filled up an extra 60 litres in jerry cans. Price was $2.79 per litre. Yesterday at the same station the price was $3.49. I am pretty sure similar price hikes, as a knock on effect, are coming to things like food and a range of materials that are petroleum derived, such as plastics and resins. I am thinking as early as the middle of next week or by mid April I will see signs of the price hikes. So as with diesel 10 days ago, I have been stacking extra pantry staples along with my regular buy. I live close to an industrial zone where the norm is to get rid of things like pallets by putting them on the side of the road in the hopes that someone like me will pick them up.
