Realistically speaking, BIP110 activating means you'll be hosting an altchain that won't even be an airdropped altcoin, because there's no replay protection.

Speaking of consensus, the reason that BIP110 is controversial is because it is a change to Bitcoin's consensus rules, requiring a contentious soft fork that will probably only get activated when the miner-signaling deadline hits (or when they move the goalposts -- again), while v30 was just a standardness rules change, which you can counteract at your own node by switching it to Knots.

There's a particularly lazy and dumb-ass type of project manager that thinks they want a WordPress content management site until they want ONE extra feature, so then they hire a WordPress Guy to write advanced custom posts. Chances in the genpop for schizophrenia are 1.2%.
For BPD, it's 2.6%.
But if you remove everyone with clinical predisposition and genetic predictors, you should expect those numbers to be very low. BPD is definitely not unpredictable and schizophrenia tends to have genetic predictors.

Found some beads and used them to track my habits in a more meaningful way. Each bead on the left represents a daily habit that I am either trying to break or build. Each bead on the right represents my desire to just claw back the comfortable life to which I'd become accustomed. No individual bead is bad or good (sometimes you get sick or need a break), but as a whole they help me gauge progress in emotional states where progress feels glacial.

The thing I love about bitcoin is how little opinion and narratives actually matter.
Miners are largely intellectually and emotionally disengaged. They do back-of-the-napkin math, plug shit in, and toggle power. They secure the network and settle transactions.
Influencers are the exact opposite. Influencers just tell plebs stories to keep them occupied while they wait around to get rich. The plebs begin to believe the stories are real and then form meetups to tell each other what their favorite stories are. Amd none of that matters in the least.
The miners don't care and matter the most.
The influencer-to-pleb story pipeline is based on caring and none of it matters at all.

I have a theory that nature produces creatures that look and act like us, but reveal themselves to be "hollowed out" automotatons; a sort of natural artificial intelligence, incapable of learning or adapting. Many such cases. I hate to admit it, but the situation is probably this:
Rockstar developers/designers/UX/QA/Product people create "culture", which is just basically everything that happens at work that is NOT work.
HR tolerates this, because they believe it attracts top talent. Executives tolerate this, because somehow HR has cast some sort of witchy spell on them that also makes them believe this is bait for top talent.
AI drops. The executives and managers have never used it outside of having their ego stroked. They love it. They mandate everyone use it. They provide no training.
The worker bees think "Haha fuck that shit. These suits don't know what they're talking about." They can't even be bothered to help the company run in place with mid initiatives that at least keep them competitive.
Company starta bleeding money. Everyone gets entrenched in their positions. Worker bees lose, get fired. Half the department get replaced by Chad From Sales, because he whipped together a demo in ClaudeBot over the weekend, and he could give a fuck about maintainability or security.
