A liar is definitely something I hope to never be!
Yessss homeschooling is the way to go. My husband and I were both homeschooled and now we have been blessed to be able to give that to our kids as well. It is definitely a struggle at times, but such is life. I am thankful to be the one to raise our children.

I found a small persimmon tree out here last year, but something got to the ripe fruit before me. I found an even bigger tree this year and it started dropping fruit today! The kids are not fans because of the seeds so the plan is to collect them into the freezer until we have enough to make some jam 😋

12-15, I guess. Probably 12 for more trunk space unless you have more than 6 kids. We had a 15 passenger for road tripping growing up and had to have pods on top for luggage.

I grew up riding around in and learning to drive XL SUVs and vans. I have a lot of siblings. Once I moved out and got married, hubs got me a 4Runner. I always said I would NEVER be a minivan mom... Well, when my husband's car bit the dust and it came time to pass along my 4Runner to him, I about started crying (yes, I know that's retarded) when I realized that a minivan was the most realistic for our needs and budget. I. Was not. A minivan mom. However, I swallowed my pride and fell in love my new-to-me Sienna. So much space. So comfortable. I now dread riding in my old 4Runner that I thought I loved 😂
If you do a lot of road tripping, I would recommend a 15 passenger van for anything more than four children though.

I have been giving Tank more trust and freedom to do his job with the chickens and he has been doing so well. We went over two weeks without a loss 🙌
Unfortunately, we did lose two more this week, but I'm thankful it has at least slowed and am hopeful it will continue to get better as he matures 🤞

My daughter and I have struggled with eczema. When we were vegan it was so bad that we had cracked and bleeding skin almost constantly. Adding good healthy fats while cutting out seed oils, legumes, and refined sugars and grains has helped us soooo much. We rarely get a flare ups now, and when we do, it's usually after we've been eating more junk than we should be. Tallow helps a ton too!

I went ahead and started training the babies to the new coop the day after I finished with the older ones because of some changes we have coming up. Tonight they went in on their own and I have all of my chickens in one coop again 🙌
Now it's time to see if I can trigger another hen to go broody before the cold sneaks in 🤞

They really are. They were so stubborn about it too. They circled their coop for about an hour trying to figure out how to get in. Then the rooster decided to lead the hens to the top of the brooder coop to roost for the night instead. That's when I finally gave in and opened it back up.
