Oh dang. I'm glad you walked away unscathed! Yeah, I see brick hearths all the time (had one in the house I grew up in too) so I figured it would probably be fine as these seem pretty similar to brick... I guess I have more research to do 😅

We have a bunch of these flat clay stones around here. I'm thinking about using them for the hearth in our cabin... Anyone have experience with this sort of thing? Is it a bad idea?

Yeahhh, I went in to the gym and tried to tumble after being out of it for a while... So disorienting. I used to be able to do so much and know exactly where I was, but now the simplest things make me dizzy and I have no idea where I'm at 😅

My daughter and I have struggled with eczema. When we were vegan it was so bad that we had cracked and bleeding skin almost constantly. Adding good healthy fats while cutting out seed oils, legumes, and refined sugars and grains has helped us soooo much. We rarely get a flare ups now, and when we do, it's usually after we've been eating more junk than we should be. Tallow helps a ton too!

That is so sweet of himmmm! I cannot wait until mine is tall enough to make coffee. He has wanted to get it for me so many times, but he is chin level with things on the stove and we use a kettle and French press so I'd rather not risk him pouring scalding hot water all over himself... Soon 🤞
