Good deal. We have a friend that has been drumming since he was a kid. His dad was a musician. He and his brother are both drummers. He was in 4 or 5 bands (at the same time), taught kids private lessons, volunteered teaching drums at a center for underprivileged kids, posted instructional videos on youtube, was a session drummer for a couple of recording studios around town, and is now Primus's drummer.

I made a small version of this as a bed enclosure for my cactus bed in our yard. I've toyed with making raised beds for my garden like this as well. I think it's going to be my go-to for separations when we move out of the city eventually.

Good friends are so important. @nprofile…ga6f and I just spent 3.5 hours with friends and didn't even realize it had been that long. It was a last minute invite to a birthday party for their 8 year oldand he insisted we be there. We were the only ones there along with our kid. There was never a lull in the conversation, never an awkward moment.

Tiny little red flowers. Some folks also call this a red bird plant. The tiny flowers look like birds. I haven't gotten a bloom but my aunt has and so did my grandmother.

Yes! The green and white variagated one is from my grandmother's plant and the solid green is from my aunt's mother-in-law's plant. I love when they get the pink on their leaves. It's almost as cool as when they start blooming.
