Mining centralisation in bitcoin is a little overblown imo. Individual miners can move pools easily. Also as block rewards go down and the big debt ridden industrial miners go bust, cheap used machines will distribute and smaller operations will prosper.

Monero uses a dynamic block size limit and a penalty mechanism instead of a fixed block size limit. This mechanism help, but won't eliminate scaling issues and centralization pressures.
It's also not clear to me how it handle non economic spam attacks. You can only have a block 2x the median of the last 100 blocks but this won't stop a dedicated attacker IMO.

No its not the same as in bitcoin. Since you cannot see the inputs and outputs you got to trust the senders proofs. And its hard to prove a negative. Similar to how its hard to prove you got enough entropy by looking at your private key. Another and maybe bigger issue is detecting implementation flaws due to complex proving systems. Anyway its an intresting topic.

I think I nailed the design of the new Cyberita Sabregrind. Pay attention to the grind of the plunge line and the sharpening choil. This solution visually connects the blade and the handle in a natural manner and make the overall design more pleasing. It's a different model I always had in mind, lighter and thinner blade. More of an slicey edc than the scandigrind version. I made a full flattgrind early on and found it to thin. But the sabregrind in this version is pretty thin as a result of a thinner bladestock than the scandigrind. As for price point I don't know yet depend on the knife steel, final handle material, coating method and production volume. Considering making a higher end version with a top tier powder steel, marble carbon fiber scales, and orange anodized hardwere. Many options.

You should run a node to broadcast your transactions and verify transactions you recieve. Its also a privacy benefit as you don't need to share your xpub with strangers as you do if you use a mobile wallet connected to a random electrum server.

Bitcoin is hard to change. That's a feature not a bug. Adding new rules by fiat and the cover of good intentions just doesn’t work.
If you want to see bitcoin used as money, use the damn thing as money.
You cannot change bitcoin by committee or dictate. You need overwhelming consensus.
You don't want bitcoin to end up like EU producing 10s of thousands of new rules and regulations a year now amounting to over 1 million decrees.
I know it's a stretch to compare Bitcoin to EU but i believe that’s the direction of travel we go if we start changing bitcoin by virtue of fiat.
You can't dictate or regulate how people view, run or use bitcoin, but you can make it easy for people to use it. You cannot force people to use bitcoin as money but you can accept bitcoin as money and use it as such.
We the people need to change, not bitcoin.

Weak entropy bitcoins are immediately swept. You can make a small test transaction to your newly generated wallet, leave it overnight and check if it's still there before you send more funds to it.
This test is not a guarantee that you got sufficient entropy going forward but a simple safeguard anyone can do before using a new bitcoin wallet.

Minority forks of bitcoin is close to impossible to pull off. Relax don't panic. Doing nothing is the safe default.
Alot of OG whales view minority fork coins as airdrops an tend to dump the fork coins on the market.
The bigger your bag the bigger your incentive to defend network by dumping the minority fork coins.
However as i said the safe default is to sit tight and do nothing. Just relax and let the shitstorm pass. You will have coins on both chains so no stress.
This dynamic and incentive structure is one of many reasons bitcoin is so hard to change without overwhelming consensuss.

The coldcard made a seed with an entropy like a 8 character password.
Keys derived from a broken RNG look exactly like keys derived from a perfect one.
Entropy is a property of the process through which data is generated, not of the data itself
A property u cannot verify after the fact must be evidenced at creation.
Let that sink in.
