That was one of the things that got me thinking about something being broken in our world.
I found my bike locked up with new fenders in the city I was living in, I called the police, told them I was standing in front of my stolen bike and I would like them to come and chop the lock. But no, nothing. They said they could do nothing.
And I had to go to work, and the bike was gone.
Until I forgot to get a present for Christmas for my brother, went to a bikeshop to get him something. And in the back of the workshop my bike was hanging there!! Told the story to the guy, and he said he found it outside his shop and took it in, because he had done some work on it and found it strange to be there with no lock when he closed the shop one day. And two days later I walk in. Went home to find some paperwork that the bike was mine and got it back.
A roller coaster!

One time I did a lot of copying of monies for a school I worked at, so the kids could play store in some of the match lectures.
I wrote "buy bitcoin" on some and the date and bitcoin price on some others. On the backside of the fake notes.

Finished the book yesterday.
Started reading this when we left Norway on October 1st.
Lot of cool stuff at the end that is not in the movie. Frodo speaking liberty/anarchy truth to some bandits, and he is not wrong. In this part it is pretty well described how a economy goes sour after a socialist takeover of the shire.

Isn't it all about p2p cash? Or am I missing something?
I have been thinking a lot about this lately, being in the center of an economy running mostly on cash, and what I am seeing is a vibrant economy, lots of different options, quality of goods and services are pretty good, at least on a practical plane.
Electronic p2p cash will be the future, and as @nprofile…fg9w said in a response not long ago, the competition for this is still playing out.
It is lots more interesting to converse without the maxi mindset, then its a lot harder for the best ideas to develop. IMHO

Listen to this song today made me both glad and sad, amazing to feel so much. Tears running.
The reason is that I managed to figure this out by myself a good while ago, and here I sit next to my rv, with my family on an adventure. Have insulated my self and my pack form outside factors, we are in charge, we think a head, we live at ease because of our choices.
On the other had, what this song depicts is what so many of my friends and family will probably go through at a certain point.
