I think someone at Coinkite new about this vulnerability. I think once AI got really good, they used AI to build a tool capable of sweeping funds from wallets with the compromised coldcard generated seeds with efficiency & speed.
Also, the big banks and government want to scare as many people out of self-custodial BTC as possible. Possible that a mole from a 3 letter agency was working at Coinkite.

☕️ I'm a coffee snob. There are people worse than me, but I know good coffee. Been drinking it since age 3 (I know! What were my parents thinking!).
I haven't been drinking coffee as frequently for various reasons. I've noticed my anxiety has almost disappeared entirely.

After a few weeks of connection errors (begining with StartOS 0.3), my @nprofile…xl8h app decided it was going to connect to my CLN via both local and tor networking (now running StartOS 0.4, but updating to 0.4 was not the solution).⚡️
Super stoked, but also... I literally did nothing different and it magically started working after weeks of not working on both Start9 0.3 & 0.4.
Next ticket in my queue: getting Vaultwarden to work locally.

I just read that you have a native plant nursery. I think we'd get along quite well if we ever met in person. I just had our property certified as a Wildlife Habitat. Also, had some Master Gardeners come to my property to tell me what's invasive, aggressive, and what native plants I should introduce in certain parts of my property. My Zeus app stopped connecting to my CLNRest on my Start9 due to a Tor issue.
Tried to upgrade to the Zeus beta to see if that helped. Both .apk files said they couldn't locate Zeus, so the upgrade failed.
Then I decided to upgrade to StartOS 0.4. That did not fix the problem with Zeus app. Stuck on port forwarding part. Looking for a video that really breaks it down for me. Finding that I have a lot to learn to get my server in a good place.
Lastly, I saw that Zeus 13.1.1 came out, so I upgraded. That did not fix the issue, but I think it's because my server isn't really configured yet.
At least the overcast, rainy weather is conducive to this kind of tinkering.
