Keep in mind that as “the truth comes out” fifth generation warfare will evolve. Before, they took advantage of society’s trust in experts. Now they realize that advantage is eroding quickly. So it makes sense from a game-theoretical perspective to pivot. They will be those small, “suppressed” accounts campaigning for your mind as they say “trust me, not big pharma/ag/govt/etc”.

Does Bitcoin have the same weakness as fiat?
Will the blockchain go the way of the dollar as it gets progressively bloated until only megacorps and governments can run full nodes?
Interesting questions to ponder. Definitely humbling once you accept the fact that Bitcoin is no invincible and won’t last forever. But it will definitely serve an important purpose. Maybe it will be the tool that frees the modern world from slavery.

I have an induction stovetop and the only reason I have it is because I got it for free and it’s got a nice oven and stuff too.
Anyways, I’ve had it for like 5 months and the stove stopped working in the midst of cooking dinner on it.
So if you’ve ever considered getting an induction stovetop, I do not recommend. Gas and electric only now.

I’ve been buying bread and cookies from a lady with a (very) small business in my neighborhood for a couple months and today I put her onto a new local, affordable source of raw, A2, grass-fed butter to use in her products.

I had a very basic umbrel setup with a lightning node as well a bit over a year ago.
But I moved and bought a house and haven’t set it back up again yet. I plan to move my funds elsewhere and probably start fresh with new software. Once I start setting it up, I’d love to dig more into the code of Knots vs Core v28. Hardware is primarily just a raspberry pi and SSD.

I remember Satoshi mentioned that, now that you mention it.
I’ve always felt that block size only needed to increase if we consistently saw full blocks with high fees over an extended period of time, such as 25,000-50,000 blocks. But I’ve also felt that the cost of building and running a node should be taken into account as a primary factor, and also Moore’s law should be used as a reference.
I supposed “Satoshi’s vision” was captured by BSV, but that didn’t seem to work out too well.
I have to trust God at the end of the day, and run a node with software that makes sense to me.

I agree with your first sentence. The system was designed to have 1 MB blocks. Both the expansion to 4 MB and the Segwit discount are antithetical to the system’s designed purpose.

I agree with you, but I think BIP110 is an effort to filter out that spam and bloat, right?
But to take your comparison even further, I think the comparison of spam on the blockchain to socialism is even more literal. By selfishly putting arbitrary data on the blockchain that is outside the intended purpose of money, spammers are literally laying their burden onto miners and node runners. It’s basically the exact same paradigm as socialism.
The people who do the work are left bearing the burden until the system eventually collapses under the weight of those who abuse it.

This happened to me in Costa Rica while using the Bitcoin Jungle app. I went to pay with bitcoin after my meal and they said that their only their boss knew how to accept bitcoin and he wasn’t there at the moment. Bummer.

My question as well. I’m by no means even close to being in their position, but this is how I imagine their main ideas/focus:
1. diversify and reduce volatility
2. knowing the risk of stocks when there’s a bubble & P/E ratios are bloated
3. knowing bonds will erode your wealth over time against inflation
4. they probably already have significant real estate exposure and don’t want to over-allocate
I would probably buy, start or invest in small businesses like a farm.

It’s incredibly difficult for non-technical people to make their own conclusions on these sort of things.
Even I as a technical person have too much other stuff going on in my life to read through the code and understand everything myself.
I would suggest to anyone to try to leverage AI such as Claude or @nprofile…qw8y to walk through the “git diff” between Core v29 and Core v30, proposed changes of BIP-110, and/or the git diff between Core v29 and Knots.

Consider these steps:
1. Have an open mind
2. Be not afraid
3. Try high quality raw milk
4. Drink raw milk for years with no negative effects and considerable benefits to nourishment and gut health
5. Fail to reconcile that raw milk has been made illegal, yet it fixes a handful of modern ailments
6. Realize the massive fraud and lies around Big Pharma and Big Food
The first two steps may seem simple, but they are not easy, nor are they commonly achieved. Steps 3-6 are for just one example, but many different things can happen once the first two steps are achieved.

Haha yeah I think I agree with you on this. The “growth” of AI chip stocks is undeniable, but something feels off about it.
I think there will be a point where a choice will have to be made. The compute cost per token is too high and not economical. You can see them cozying up to the government to try to set themselves up as “critical to national security” so that they can get an overt or covert bailout when the music stops.

I’ve been peering down the #Law rabbit hole recently and it has been super interesting. I’m only scratching the surface, but it seems like much of the population has been duped by law terminology to basically give up their rights. Also seems like a lot of stuff happens very quickly after birth if it’s at a hospital. There seem to be far more implications to signing a birth certificate than I previously knew, for example.
It’s in line with the whole “they have to tell you they’re doing it” stuff when people do bad things.
Something that would be interesting to learn more about is #maritime/admiralty law. A lot of ship/sea terminology. I’ve seen some posts from Matisse Academy about it. I bet there are plenty of nostriches who know much more about this than myself.

I try not to have too strong of an opinion while I’ve only read this one version of the Bible (readers digest version).
That said, it almost felt like the book was made up by Satan. The main plot is that a group of people just continually invade other peoples and take what they themselves did not build, plundering and murdering. Their god tells them that they need to do this and then keep their strict religious practices to keep what they have stolen.
To play devil’s advocate, it also kind of felt like a story to showcase the other side of what happens when a society loses its connection to God. God doesn’t allow that society to persist and instead allows outsiders to take over.
I don’t know though 🤷🏼‍♂️

I’m getting really close to finishing hard-wiring my internet in my house, with a WiFi option if desired.
