You do you, but I personally can’t do memes and jokes because of all the people affected. I won’t say they were “victims” per se because ultimately your keys are your responsibility. Perhaps moving forward, all company made signing devices should remove the ability to generate a seed without solely/added entropy and/or passphrase.
If single sig Ledger or Trezors get hit next, I can’t fathom how many years it would set Bitcoin back. Certainly much more than MtGox did.

Completely irrespective of 110, Taproot was an extremely hasty and unnecessary solution looking for a problem. Even if it was never added, adding it today would STILL be unnecessary.
Everyone needs to start by admitting this, then we can go from there.

I’m running 110 even though I think miners will just ignore it. However if it succeeds, I expect influencers will dismiss it as only lasting for a year. Some will go out of their way to spam out of revenge. But we’ll all see what will happen in 2 weeks.

We can start to reintegrate if you first admit that Taproot was a massive disaster and you apologize for your role in supporting it.
But if you refuse to do those two things and instead, continue to double down by continuing to support the same people and companies (ex. fucking Brink) that created this mess, I’m not going to believe a word out of your mouth.

Taproot was the malicious soft fork attack. Now, there are three groups who want to gaslight you into thinking that it wasn’t.
The financial industrial complex: those who funded the attack who want to either capture or kill Bitcoin.
Developers: who made and pushed for the attack, who either won’t admit it was an attack because they want to maintain their power, funding, and status, or they were in on the maliciousness themselves.
Influencers: who won’t admit it was an attack to save face and not look weak (despite their unwitting support for the attack) to maintain their access to devs, events, funding, and clout.

This math is not correct, not even close. If you wanted to compare the purchasing power to a house, it would be: To have the same minimum-wage home-buying power as in 1971, the federal minimum wage would need to be around $27/hour (about $1,080/week).
If you scale minimum wage by growth in M2 money supply, the equivalent is around $2,000/week, not $7,320/week.
To get from $64/week to $7,320/week, you'd need a multiplier of about:
7,320 ÷ 64 ≈ 114×
Neither:
CPI inflation (≈8–9×),
Median home prices (≈17×),
M2 money supply (≈31×), nor
Median household income growth
comes close to 114×.

One of their biggest mistakes in reasoning is thinking that demand for spam is fixed. They don’t account for the fact that hostility to spam will reduce future spam. Ex. If I’m a VC and I see active hostility to spam, I’m going to be less likely to fund spam projects moving forward.

If you look at total global wealth, most of it is in temporal salability and not spatial salability. Houses, equities, debt > fiat money. It does get messy though because fiat money still does have some temporal salability. But you still need both temporal and spatial salability for the money to work, ideally both mediums are one and the same.
